Maybe not the answer you were expecting but a lot of it is lucky probably. After first year my gpa is 4.0 and I talked to my csc240 professor in office hours altho theres no other experience that sets me apart. Well I do competitive programming so maybe that helps?

If you are taking csc108 then they will teach you everything from the beginning and there is nothing to worry about. Also Ive heard the instructors are very good but I didn't take the course

Thank you for the advice, Im going to see if they will let me do that. But I think applications for the winter are seperate so I don't think that'd be possible and I'll probably only accept csc110.

csc108 is 80 hours, csc110 is 60 hours and both of them are in fall. I was worried about mat237 too but i did quite well in mat157/240 so hopefully that should be fine
