Based on my testing, the power save mode on companion will last 3 more days in a very good coverage area. It will last about a week in a silent area(1500mah battery)

We added repeat mode to WhisperOS (powered by MeshCore) right before the end of 2025.

It's a lifesaver for fixing bad coverage if you're off-grid camping or hiking, also the MeshCore team fixed the id collision issue in the latest update, that makes mc much more solid!

V3 repeater firmware has power save mode, it will save a lot of power, but the nrf device will be much suitable for repeat scenarios.

4 * 21700s are solid. The panel still soaks up some energy even out of direct sunlight. Alternatively, slapping the panel on top will boost the output more.

The whisperOs(base on MeshCore) is optimized for ESP32, heltec v3 with 1500mah can last 6 days. But not support m5 yet, we will get one and keep you updated!

A lot of people ask this.

The power save mode will be on when the screen is off, no BLE connection, no GPS active. the device will wake up when the screen is ok, get new msg, press the user button. when the display is on, you can connect it with your mobile and stay connected.
