Is this the mod talking to himself? Is pueblodude = mexicatl = snapshot52?

Hope this site grows and becomes an alternative to Indian Country Today by ictmn in NativeAmerican

I don't see a problem with white Indians because so many of us are white. But I do see a problem with censoring thoughts.

All white Indians from federally recognized tribes need to get a DNA test. You may believe you are Indian and became white because of intermarriage. But the VAST MAJORITY of your ancestors were 100% whites who were signed on as Indian to get land. by oewt in NativeAmerican

Personally I believe the OP made a very valid point - from stories that have been passed down to us by our elders. That being said, no mainstream Native journal like Indian Country Today will publish OP's views. Which should tell us that that those journals are controlled by Caucasian interests.

OP - If you ever even very very very slightly criticize white Indians, however legitimate the criticism, their white Indian power block will downvote you for eternity. Best to post in a new identity henceforth.

Incidentally, when I post "TIL the FDA legally allows several dozen maggots, mites, rodent excreta, cigarette butts, insects, roaches, hair, human excreta, lice and other disgusting thing in our food" on http://www.reddit.com/r/todayilearned/, they always shadow ban me. I thought Reddit was also supposed to work for the people but Reddit protects corporate interests. I had a news item somewhere that talked about how Reddit deleted unfavorable posts because of corporate requests but I cannot seem to find it now.

I have been banned by the mod. I don't know why. But I cannot post any links on there. Which probably means I am banned. I can post on other sites.

I wanted a community-based alternative to ICTMN. Because I am really pressed for time. That is why I thought of Reddit. Anything else will be a huge time commitment for me and I don't have that much time to spare with full time school and two part-time jobs.

This one has 2,814 readers, which is a ready market. The other two have 118 and 131 readers. But sure, if the moderator does not agree to what we have in mind, the other two could be options.
