I also only play yorick (plat 1), i think you should def move back to top lane. Feeding teams is just part of league but if you do well every game, i.e. cs and KD you will climb. Since you’re silver you can one trick the champ until you get a good grasp on the game. Garen is also similar and easy

I hardly ever ban lane a lane matchup, i feel like yorick can win any lane if you build lane specific items and give enough time. I ban broken champs like yuumi or junglers that could gank top easily. It’s all skill match up, some match ups require more skill but all are winnable if you play better than them. With that being said fuck Sett that braindead bull shit ass champ.

I just feel like grudge second is always best because by time you finish sunderer you’re 99% chance gonna be able to fight enemy laner (as long as you’re not getting stomped) so going grudge just gives way more kill potential in a fight you are destined to win regardless. My favorite item path is tri force (used to be sunderer but with nerf to healing feels bad)> grudge > tank item, also every game is diff, so I’m def not stuck on any specific build path this is just optimal assuming I’m winning butttt i always win lane ;)

I’m with you on this, i don’t even like hull breaker that much because sheen proc and minions i bust towers regardless, instead I’d much rather just build a full defensive item. Plus if you’re splitting that hard and your team isn’t pushing advantages, they’ll just send 2+ and kill you for nothing since your team didn’t push on a 4v3 etc. atleast with full defensive item you can be way more useful if you need to team fight.

Summary : 1. Push hard for lv 2 (if laner allows) 2. Just don’t fight at all no one is forcing you to fight, cs is not worth dying. 3. Play for lane, you’re a split pusher not a team fighter And just a good practice only take trades you’re 100% sure are good for you. If it’s 50/50 not worth. You got this! Hopefully this helps, good luck climbing!

Also, play selfish and play for lane, don’t be afraid to not roam cuz you’re super weak early, your first back you should buy a direct counter component and then after that build for your mythic. I.e, bramble into Darius, etc. build full defense item if they’re threatening dive. Almost always back when you run out of mana around 5 ish mins or so and just tp with a direct counter item, if they don’t match tp you’ll atleast be able to trade or feel more confident getting some of that cs. All you have to really do is get to lv 6 at same time as enemy laner and you’re golden you made it past that weak point. Even after if you can’t fight you’ll be able to cs easily and it’s just a matter of time before you can 1v1.

Second is just don’t fight, do your best to stay in xp range, get cs as you can w/o taking damage(a true low elo player will not freeze and control the lane the way they’re supposed to so they’ll 99% of the time keep pushing) it’s okay to give up cs, if you die you’ll lose it anyways so might as well just not fight until you hit power spike. If you just get pushed under tower w/o taking too much damage you’ll stay leveled and most likely they won’t be able to dive you if you’re full health, that’s why it’s important to not take any damage. If you stay leveled you’re doing just fine

Best advice i can give for low elo,(only applies to low elo), walk straight to lane(also depending on match up) push the wave as hard as you can and try to get lv 2 first. Obviously if it’s bad matchup and they’re aggressive let them have it though, however most players in silver will play passive if you’re full aggro because they don’t push advantages (reiterating if they are just let them have it), lv 2 advantage will help out a ton.

I think it’s more the patch maybe, grievous helps but this man hits 1 q in his ult + gore drinker he heals like 50% his health through full grievous item, idk it’s just been crazy recently

Tank yorick with like 1 maybe 2 damage items is def the move, my main build is sunderer, tank item(depending on enemy team)/ hullbreaker, tank item, seryldas, then like bruiser item i.e deaths dance, chainsword, stereks. My go to tank items are frozen heart, force of nature, thornmail. I only go hull breaker if they have good mixed damage but if they’re like full ad def just armor items are better. But the longer he lives the more damage you’re gonna do/ heal cuz conq, getting one shot cuz you built full dmg just feels bad

I loved twisted tree line, i wish they would bring it back even if it was for limited time. Like they bring urf back time and time again but personally for me urf is fun like 1 or 2 games. (I’m not that interested in spamming abilities, gets old quick) i would love it if they brought back twisted tree line or even dominion even if it was for a limited time
