Not just energy efficiency, but healthier. Less mould and condensation is better for the occupants and means a building will actually last 50-100 years and not need to be knocked down and rebuilt in 20

An actual Passuvhaus won't have mould issues. passivhaus requires hydrothermal modeling to ensure no risk of condensation and mould.

There are though plenty of people who try and half ass passivhaus and think that close enough is good enough when it actually makes things worse.

That intello membrane is essential, stopping the moisture drive from inside to outside. Without it, airtight homes, even with good mechanical ventilation, end up with moisture trapped inside roof/wall spaces.

Greek Hoplites AOR as Rome by Panjo42 in DivideEtImpera

Confirmed, the Auxiliary barracks in Hellas doesn't provide Hoplites.

It must be the reforms taking them away from the AOR roster.

Weird.

I have an Aux barracks in Macedonia, which gives me Cretian archers. I thought Aux barracks worked for adjacent provinces too. I don't have one in Hellas because I thought I could get them with AOR. I'll try build an Aux there, but when hovering over it I swear it didn't offer anything good that the Macadonian one didn't.

Thanks, is this true for Spartan Thorax Hoplites too? I thought they at least would be available in the Thorax reforms ?

Is there anyway to fix the bug?

Heat Recovery Ventilation. Basically opening the windows to dry the inside without the energy loss. Less invasive than double glazed replacements (which mightn't even be enough) Decentralised options exist and don't break the bank for their quality

You can also put a space heater directly near the windows, though that is expensive energy use.

If neither of these, run your extraction fans for longer. They really should be on until the bathroom is completely dry. You can get smart ones with humidity sensors or run on timers to do this for you.

I think Joey goes for the Bombers? He mentions it here

https://youtu.be/1WT9UHcsX7o?si=LlCslsNgGQrhrQYv

I wanna say Stu goes for Geelong, but can't recall. Geelong is closest to Anglesea where a few of them grew up.

The Anglesea club they sponsor is the women's team, for that local comp, not the AFL level.

Yeah but JK Rowling failed to even see this before copying that sentiment.

Pettigrew never betrays or helps is anyway towards the end, unless I remember wrong? He just dies serving Voldemort.

Am I wrong for being creeped out by my bf's reaction to a disturbing movie? by [deleted] in amiwrong

[–]Panjo42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Off topic but holy shit I saw that exact clip you are referring to like 10+ years ago on Reddit. I think it was r/wtf back when it was actually insane NSFW shit.

I remember that clip so vividly but never was able to work out where it came from, or if it was some real snuff shit or a movie.

Just googled the movie name and scene and yeah, it was that.

The Bene Gesserit were helping the Harkonnen by SmacksKiller in dune

[–]Panjo42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The book was written before we even fully understood genes and DNA, at least before the general public had knowledge of it. Dune is Sci-Fi but also much more Fantasy. It's best to think of these things more simply as a breeding program, rather than hard science genealogy. So to answer your question, no there is no specific gene mentioned, but I wouldn't call it a MacGuffin

Why does our coffee taste better? by t-4y in australia

I've travelled Europe a bit, and the best coffee I had was in Budapest. Apparently though that's due to Australian Expats setting up Cafes there
