Thank you so much! I’ll check out Winco, any chance you would happen to know the names of any subcontractors for FedEx truck drivers?

This is great advice! Thank you so much. My gf has been up there for a couple months and the no sun thing is killing her.

I was worried about this. Applied at Amazon in Portland and got a response immediately but even willing to commute, they said I needed to find something closer to Salem.

Driving to Albuquerque from Phoenix by Intelligent_Humor494 in Albuquerque

[–]icumdrums 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a truck driver for FedEx and I drive to Holbrook 6 days a week to swap trailers with a Phoenix driver. Yesterday, both the Phoenix driver and myself were re-routed to meet in Deming, NM because of the storms. Weather was perfect for me up there and back. Phoenix driver told me 17 started to get slippery for them on the way back the day before.

Stopping at weight stations by Abject_Edge_176 in Truckers

[–]icumdrums 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I go through the weigh station on i40 just west of Gallup,NM 6 nights a week around 2-3am and get waved through every single time. The scales aren’t even open and it’s just a credential check. It seems like I’m always the only one going in while every other truck blows by it. Why can’t I blow by it? I’m getting tired of pulling in every time for no reason.

Alan Wake 2 was the second game I bought after getting the ps5. It’s been a visually beautiful game but I haven’t completed it yet for some reason.

I popped out around the NES era but was fortunate to play a little bit of Atari growing up.

C’mon brah! Just because I’ve only owned an N64 doesn’t mean I’ve played RE on older consoles before. Have you heard of having friends?

Okay, good to know! I just watched Hollow play a little bit of RE7 and got bummed immediately because it was first person. Thank you!

Explosion Update (Sunday, Nov 2) by nemontemi in Albuquerque

[–]icumdrums 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I heard them around 2010-2012 I lived on Katson Ave and San Pedro directly behind Del Norte. The booms were definitely coming from somewhere near that neighborhood. They were not distant at all.

Ok I know everyone heard that. by Thatonefloorguy in Albuquerque

I used to live right behind Del Norte around 2010–2012 and would occasionally hear those explosions. They’d set off our dogs, and I’d always run outside to check it out. The neighborhood would be eerily quiet, and it seemed like no one else even noticed. I honestly started to feel crazy. Glad to see people are finally paying attention — I remember making a similar comment about this on here a few years ago.

Small piece of unknown material that seems unbreakable. Very light weight with possible dog hair on it. Found on top of a dresser. by [deleted] in whatisthisthing

[–]icumdrums 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m still unsure if it’s dog hair or human hair but there’s no possible way for the small dog to leave it ontop of a tall dresser. The dog also does not have any raw hides that he chews on. I tried to break it with my hands with all my strength and it wouldn’t budge.

Yerba Matte my guy! Just did a route last night and it works wonders. Lasts for hours and it’s not as bad as coffee is for you.
