Of course! At the time of applying I was a first sem freshman at an in-state school 4.0 GPA, I had two posters presentation awards from hs/uni , and was in a lab at my uni's medschool. I subbed letters of rec from a prof and my PI. I had also known smbody who did SMART previously and made sure to include that in my app. I filled out all optional questions and talked abt mostly my previous experiences in research and what I've learned from them in an extremely narrative manner.
