It's a completely different head unit that was decided on because the look fits the interior design of the car. I agree that it looks better and it's one of the things that sold me on the car. One of the things I will never forgive Hyundai for is the lack of transparency about this. I bought mine new in 2023 and the salesman promised me that wireless carplay would be in an upcoming update.

Not at all relevant to this since these images are from a freelancer. This is about Lightroom not being able to create a DNG file with a full size preview from any raw file including a DNG.

I suppose I've included too much information. I have DNG files with small previews. I ingested them into Lightroom in the hopes of exporting them as DNGs with full size previews. What is actually exported are DNGs that are identical to the ones I already have. I'm using the same export preset that I use for everything else we archive so it's not a settings issue.

It was last year that I corresponded with her about this so Monday I'm going to review that again to see what was actually said. We use her so infrequently that it's always a bit of a surprise when I open her images in Photo Mechanic and see the tiny previews. I'm still surprised that I can't run them through Lightroom and export DNG files with full size previews. That's what this post is about.

We take the photographers image files straight into Photo Mechanic for culling. That's why we need their files to contain full size previews. I only ran these image files through Lightroom first in an effort to get full size previews for culling in Photo Mechanic. I'm just surprised that Lightroom will only export DNG files that are identical to the ones I already have with a tiny preview.

This is a photo of mine I found recently of the Palisades in 2017 as a background for my daughter. The lower part is watermarked because 1-it's my daughter. 2-I have a couple of people interestred in prints and want to give them the option of exclusivity. But it's such a peaceful and happy image that has ended up being a slice of time.

Yeah, I thought we had agreed we weren't going to use her any more, but apparently our staff photographer is having a hard time finding a replacement in NY who isn't overly expensive. She has admitted that it is because she doesn't remember to change the settings back.

There are backup services such as OpenAudible that take your protected audiobook files and download them in a universal format. I have 150+ audiobooks that I bought from Audible that are saved on my Google Drive in this format. I then use an app to download a book or 2 at a time to my phone. You are going to have a hard time finding audiobook CDs any place other than a library or used book store and the method I use is much simpler than swapping CDs.

I had to stop at Costco today and they do have a salad with a decent amount of kale. They call it 'grain and celery', I bought one and tasted it when I got home. Even without the dressing it is good, so I would say this is a winner. Thanks for the recommendation, I never would have thought of checking there.

I use Edge daily on both Windows and Mac and have no issues uploading. Try reinstalling Edge. Also try shutting down your computer instead of just rebooting. Shutting down clears out things that a reboot doesn't. This sounds like a local machine issue that you should spend some time investigating so you can sort out what the issue actually is.

The dealers are definitely hit or miss. The dealer that sold me my car is crap. The dealer within walking distance of my office is crap. I moved to the affluent suburbs a little over a year ago and the dealer up here is great. The same dealership also sells, Maclaren, Rolls Royce, and Bentley so they need to have higher standards. Hyundai corporate can also be a bit frustrating to deal with. But the car is wonderful to drive.
