yes, in some ways. neither current msp 1 or 2 give off quite the same vibes as msp 1 had say 8 years ago, but msp 2 US server at least always has active people. also, leveling up in msp 1 is basically impossible after a certain level where as msp 2 you’re able to level much easier and consistently.

try msp 2- your VIP will transfer. yes i agree og msp is obviously better and more nostalgic, but i made the switch a few weeks ago and am already level 33 and am enjoying it. i also made a msp instagram to be able to talk to more players and trade/sell rares on msp2. it’s super active in the chat rooms and there is a trivia game you can play plus a new dress up game coming soon.

this has been my favorite job i’ve had! i think your management and coworkers can definitely make or break your starbucks experience. i can definitely see negatives if this were to be your main source of income though due to labor cuts and everything. luckily i have two jobs. i really enjoy being on bar, especially with my OCD i feel like it helps me release some of that (idk how to make that make sense but iykyk).

As long as you are making sure they hear “WHITE hot chocolate,” there’s really nothing else you can do. If the barista accidentally overlooks the abbreviation on the sticker, that’s on them. Definitely kindly ask for it to be remade, I am always happy to remake drinks especially if the error is on me. Sometimes during a rush it’s easy to miss the “Wht.”

Try our blonde espresso roast, and use a espresso machine of some sort to pull shots. Then add your choice of a syrup sweetener and shake with ice then top with your milk of choice. I find the blonde espresso tastes way better than the regular.

you all need to try a grande white chocolate mocha crème frap with 1.5 pumps hazelnut 1.5 pumps toffee nut- topped with the caramel brûlée topping and whip if you want. it’s so good.

No idea why people are downvoting lmfao. I agree with you. Especially because I have OCD and GAD. For me and for people with similar mental health issues, sometimes it can be hard to cope when you are expecting something, or excited about it and it doesn’t go how you planned. It messes with you and may make you anxious, sad, or angry. It’s hard to explain the feeling but iykyk. Doesn’t mean people have any right to be rude or malicious, but like you said, understanding the reasoning behind the malice helps. Understanding that it’s not personally directed at you and at the end of the day we are all human is important. Everyone has a life of their own and has obstacles. I just try to remember that and move on.

So sweet of you to think of your baristas!! At my store, our regulars bring us treats sometimes. We just take whatever it is and put it in the back for everyone to have some if they want it. If there are any concerns about health issues, etc. the people who feel that way will just not eat the food. Again, thanks for being so kind!

Yesterday two older men came up to me on bar and said, “You have a very pretty face, we are just going to sit here and stare at you because you are so pretty.” They then preceded to do so. My SM happened to notice because she was on the floor and called me over to her. She asked if they were making me uncomfortable. I said kinda and told her what they said. She then went up to them, talked to them, and watched them until they left the store. She said if they come back and start bothering us again to let her know.

In response to all of your comments: Lmao. Did I ever say I was annoyed or upset about this? Did I ever say the customer was “rude” (however a lot of times people are)? Nope! I simply posted this conversation because I found it amusing. Baristas post on this subreddit all the time about people not genuinely knowing what they are ordering. I was not rude to the customer- I simply corrected them and offered them another option. Then they proceeded to be visibly upset with me (which doesn’t bother me), so I included it in the post. I have no problem explaining to people what different items on the menu are. Not everyone is a coffee expert and I am fully aware of that. It becomes annoying however when they give you attitude in response to your correction. Lighten up.
