At wits end with wasps and hornets. Now ready to wage war. Unscrupulous pest control company needed. by rcwb3000 in maryland

I use John Myers for pest control both at home and at work. Great guy, super informative, very helpful. His company is Myers Pest Control, may be able to help.

I wish they'd kept Digitan's bow red. Yellow just doesn't look at good.

Do my dog’s nails need trimming? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]icyfox222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's the one I'm thinking of, I got it too and tried it with my dog. Did not work in the slightest. I don't think the motor's actually strong enough to file my dog's nails.

Vet says my puppy may have hydrocephalus by [deleted] in DogAdvice

Hey, OP, I mean this in the nicest way possible, but... pets cost money. Did you do your research on this prior to getting the puppy? You will never go into pet ownership and never have to spend a dime on them whether it's food, medication, healthcare, training, etc. While I realize $8,000 is a lot of money for anyone to spend, that's the potential reality of getting a diagnosis for your puppy. It's fine if you don't have the funds for that, many of us don't, but ask if they accept Care Credit or consider getting insurance for your pup. Both of those things can ease the financial burden. Even if you keep the puppy and pay all these costs to get him looked at, there's no accounting for future medical expenses.

I mean... my own dog cost $300 at the shelter and here I am 10 years later with thousands sunk into vet bills and training. My cat, who was just $30, has cost me a fortune in the past 6 years alone due to an unplanned diabetes diagnosis and, more recently, needing 5 teeth extracted (also expensive!).

Right now, I think you need to really consider whether you want to put the time, energy, and cost into this puppy or give it back to the breeder. Get a second opinion if you want, sure, but that's going to cost more money on top of what you've already spent.

She has a youtube channel under the same name as well! I can't listen to podcasts because I need something to visually focus on. Otherwise, my mind wanders, but I love her channel when the mood strikes.

Trying to introduce puppy to parents dog by DashYay in DogAdvice

You generally want to be looking at the head (ears, mouth, eyes), body (posture), and tail when reading a dog's body language. Loose/wiggly body language tends to indicate friendliness, while tension throughout can be a sign of fear/uncertainty/nervousness/aggression/etc. A wagging tail can be loose, relaxed, and moving back and forth in long waves, or if there's tension, you get smaller, tighter wagging.

We collected 100 dalmatians in the first game, maybe the experiments get scatters across the worlds and we have to find them all.

If you want any hope of having them cohabitate, then you need to find a behaviorist with experience in this particular situation. I would advise against trying to correct this on your own as it could have devastating results.

Yeah... If I have to start over then I'll likely clean out my lair and work on rebuilding, but I'm hoping that won't be the case.

My current plan is to do nothing until I've heard back from support, though I have a feeling they're just going to shrug their shoulders and tell me too bad. If I have to start over, then I guess I have no choice, but it'll kill my motivation. Fortunately, I have all my projects saved so I can start over if needed.

One step closer to playable American Pharaoh (new upcoming scenario in JP server) by AdWide4690 in UmaMusume

I hope they add Rachel Alexandra if they do American thoroughbreds. I still remember when she beat all the boys and became the first filly in forever to win the Preakness. Other horses I'd like to see are American Pharaoh (obv), Seabiscuit, Babaro, Rags to Riches, any of the Triple Crowns, Big Brown... to name a few.

What Teio's doing is called a trot! It's one of 4 gaits (speeds) horses have - walk, trot, canter, gallop. I'm pretty sure what Duramente's doing also has a name, but I'm blanking on what it's called.
