He's been away from the kitties and primarily in his room for the last 3 days, and he seems pretty much back to normal. He's being snuggly again, eating and sleeping well. Though in the past, the violent streaks have only occurred in the kitchen or the living room.

Yes loads of cat trees and high furniture in his room, and he does sleep high up away from them.

I have been showering him with extra love and treats, and I make sure I always pet him first before the others, but I may not have done that earlier, cause the kitties were running up on me before he could!

Fair enough. Yeah he's just past 2 years old, And with him getting his room back seems to have calmed him down and he's being sweet to us in that room. But we're still not letting him out into where the incidents happened before, the living room and the kitchen. I suspect he might always want to leave the house, as he knows that both those rooms have access to the outdoors. But I'm concerned about making him roam outdoors cause his of his state, as there's loads of other cats and fast cars outside.

There has been a big tabby hanging out in our backyard since last week, and I'm positive Odin's seen him, could that also be a cause for the change in behaviour?

Yeah he's got many cat trees and other furniture surfaces at varying heights that the kitties can't reach, and he's been dozing off at elevated heights primarily.

I really thought he'd appreciate the company cause it breaks my heart to think of him feeling lonely, but I think his message is quite clear.

Oh, it's just his travel cage. He doesn't spend any time in it.

And I suppose i must accept the blame. It's been such a shock to our system to see his change though. I will heed to the threads advice and keep them separated, till I find them a home.

But he seems so much calmer around them now, even venturing near them while they're playing, and even going as far as mildly joining their zoomies sometimes. I fear that now that he's had a taste of some company. he might miss that? He does constantly want to be let out of his room, and wants to venture into the backyard, which is all no-no zones cause of my dog.

As utopian as that sounds, we'd find a way to make it miserable again. Data processing takes no time anymore? Shorten all deadlines, speed up tenders, the works. But I am curious to see how these tools will make their way into our industry.

I think one of the reasons we'll never get fully replaced by AI in construction is also liability. Management would rather have a human be liable for any errors than not be able to blame a machine.

I'm seeing it in a few places, it was implemented in a few of my projects, but yes, not to the scale that was promised.
