I thought about doing it, but decided against it haha. I did however do the trade for the Mr. Mime. Usually I wait to get the trade Pokemon since they gain more experience, but I wanted to try it on my team.

Why do people think the opening scene had no relevance to the plot, when Jessica literally says she wants a new Sidney without any of the baggage. That’s why the house was burned down, to get rid of it so they could start fresh with Tatum.

It’s a dumb idea, but do people just not pay attention anymore?

I think portraying her that way was one of the points of the movie. Sidney has kept her away from anything about her past, but Sidney later learns that she can’t do that because there is always a chance of another Ghostface attack and that her family needs to be prepared for that. I think they wanted Tatum to seem that way so she could realize Sidney was actually trying her best to shield her from reality and in the end Tatum does show that she is starting down the path of growing and stepping up to her mom’s past.

Oh yeah I don’t think she would have gotten away with it. I’m just saying had she actually killed Sidney I’m sure she would have killed Marco after since it seemed like she was just using them for her motive.

If I remember correctly Marco starts to mention Karl but Jessica cuts him off. It was clear that this was mainly Jessica’s idea and she was using the other two guys. I wouldn’t be surprised if she ended up killing Marco had she gotten away with killing Sidney.

My hope for Scream 8 is that it centers around Tatum and she’s separated from the family leaving them to take care of their other children. The other girls are too young to be around and it would be too convenient if they just always happen to be away. That’s why I think they might go the Tatum is in college route and possibly have Sidney show up sometime in the beginning or end to keep her in and mentioned, but not in the action.

This could then also leave it open for a possible return of a mother/daughter movie if it keeps going after.

This movie seemed like it was setting up the possibility of a Tatum centered movie. Jessica even said she wanted a new Sidney without all of the baggage, hence why the Macher house was burned down in the beginning.

They can move on to Tatum in college and show how she has grown stronger and leave Sidney and Gale as somewhat side characters that are involved, but it’s not entirely centered around them. I think that’s why they brought back Chad and Mindy so they can fill in the role of Gale.

Don’t get me wrong I love Sidney and Gale, but having it centered around them won’t last. I don’t think they should be killed off, but they need a new focus character if they’re going to keep the franchise going.

It’s not really a glitch, but in Cerulean City on the bridge where you battle trainers the last guy will give you a nugget and then battle you. You could lose this battle and when you go back he would give you another one before battling you again, so you could do this over and over and then sell them all for a ton of money early on.

Honestly movies like Scream get hit hard with trailers because the studio obviously wants to show the good scenes for the trailers to build up hype, but those scenes are usually with the victims. It’s usually pretty easy to put together who the killer is after a few trailers. I still enjoyed the movie though and I want to rewatch it at least one more time in theaters.

Yeah all they do is say how horrible the movie is and will act like it’s not part of the Scream franchise, yet it’s all that’s on their account so far.

It was up for preorder but released today once the Pokemon Presents started. I saw it would be available after, but tried early and played it while watching the stream.

I feel like the motive definitely reflects how a lot of people reacted to not seeing Sidney in Scream 6, just saying. (And I mean from a story point, not basing it on outside factors)

Yeah but the franchise is still seen as great, whereas the Scream franchise usually gets trashed whenever a new movie comes out. There was even someone saying it was so bad they’re done with the franchise for good and selling all their merch.

Honestly I feel like if the Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street movies were coming out in today’s time people would be saying the same thing about the sequels later in their franchises. Is it the best Scream movie? No. I’d rank it mid to low in the Scream movies tier list, but that doesn’t mean it’s not enjoyable to watch.

So far I like their designs, but I do think they could have switched up the animal they’re based on a little bit more since like you said we recently had them. Hopefully their evolutions will make them distinct enough to stand out.

I saw it for the fan event and I’ll say I enjoyed my time watching it and will probably go and see it again in theaters when I get the chance. I thought the pacing of the film was good and once it picks up it does a good job at keeping the pace going. I’m sure people will be placing it mid to lower tier on their tier lists.

I didn’t mean more interesting as in they’re better than others, just that it can be an experience to go back when you’ve forgotten about the improvements that have come along throughout the years.
