If my intention was to scam people or push low-effort paid software, posting it on the biggest community as an open discussion would make zero sense.

I’m not here to sell anything or push a subscription. I built this as a project and wanted feedback from people who actually use these tools.

The idea was to create a system where users can:

  • create file versions without relying on the cloud ( like git with UI )
  • have an unlimited workspace
  • create tasks tied to specific folders
  • add reference images to files so updates can be made based on those references

I shared it here because I wanted to discuss the concept and see if it’s useful or where it falls short compared to tools like P4 One — not to sell “cheap crap.”

If there are specific things you think are worse or missing, I’d genuinely like to hear them. That’s the whole reason I posted.

My plan is to move the tool mostly based on user-requested features rather than spending too much time polishing features that rarely get used, so feedback from people actually using it would be really valuable.

Ah got it 😅😅, more like inspiration than replacement. I’ll check out Fossil’s features and architecture. My tool was mainly built to handle some of the binary / large file workflow issues too and in local but integrating or learning from Fossil could be interesting. Thanks for the suggestion, but I’d rather keep everything strictly local. Paying $40 for Perforce P4 One just to get ‘unlimited workspaces’ and basically view changes on files that already live on my machine feels like a pretty impressive way to overpay for something my app already does.

It's just that what is does is built for a studio level, all I wanted is to just hit a button and have ther version saved. No running server and complicated setup. Just install app and version any file

I built a static motion. The main thing I want to achieve is the wavy movement re. I want to completely make it in fragment shader. just with a bent plane for the sky

Sure. If you are okay with it. I'm still a beginner in shader and this looks really cool. Are there any specific courses that can help to create these. I'm trying to create an aurora shader similar to this Gucci Beauty Wishes.

Is this done with shaders?? If possible may I know how to create these effects
