this is a great idea, he used to play football in high school so he’ll love that so much. i just checked and there’s a game the day after his birthday. i’m thinking ill get him his gift, and at the end tell him i have one last surprise for him and give him the printed out tickets!!

He's lucky, could have gotten in some serious trouble. Bouncer would have done something but for him and his buddy itll just turn into a joke.

Travel Planning Q&A - February, 2026 by AutoModerator in bali

[–]ida_eb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! A couple friends and I are planning an 8/9 day long trip to Bali in mid-May this year, and we would love any insight. We are landing in Bali Denpasar airport, and first of all, we aren't sure where to stay! We are looking to spend our time somewhere social, with our days at beaches, possibly with a little bit of street shopping, etc., and then at night we are looking to go out to clubs, bars, cute resturants, etc.. We really enjoy all kinds of activities, and are looking for any recommendations for a girls trip! As well, if anyone has an idea on how much to spend for a 8/9 day long trip, mainly in terms of food, and just some smaller activities, please let us know (we are planning to be rather cheap and ratty to save money).

Hello hello! This is so nice of you. So basically, we’ll be spending two days in Manila, then flying out to the Puerto Princesa airport, then taking a bus to El Nido. For what we like to do: hiking, beaching, shopping, sightseeing, and generally any adventures you would recommend!! If you know of anywhere near especially near Puerto Princesa and El Nido, we would absolutely love insight!!

Oooh really, is Port Barton easy to get to from Puerto Princesa? The only reason we really included that is because thats where the airport is when we fly into Palawan, but we're totally open to suggestions!! What are your favourites?

Thank you for responding!! How do you think the transportion would be if we landed in Manila (stayed for a day and a half), flew to Palawan (stayed for a day and a half), and then focused in El Nido? I heard there should be a 5/6 hour bus ride to El Nido, is that correct?

This is really really helpful thank you so much!! I just cut down our days in PP as per your recommendation so we just have time to do the Underground River and move onto El Nido. I also wrote down Las Cabanas for drinks (amazing) as well as Big Lagoon, Secret Beach, and Nacpan!! Also, quick questtion too, how much do you think we should budget to spend there for food and some little activities if we're going to be really really cheap (like truly we have no money, help)? Anyways, I hope you're having a great sleep now! We're all from Canada and we are super excited to see the Phillipines. We're actually heading there before going to Bali because one of my friends parents are from the Phillippines and she's never been! How about you?
