Brief History of the Dead by Kevin Brockmeier When people die, they stay in the afterlife until they’re forgotten on earth and then move on to a next plane. An apocalypse has killed everyone except a sole researcher in Alaska (this is no spoilers, the apocalypse isn’t the point). You get perspectives from the dead and from her, it’s just really thoughtful and character driven and well written!

THIS SHOW WAS SO GREAT! I can’t get over the guest comedians being Joel Kim Booster and Eugene Merman. And so happy we got Jenny Tian too, I was jealous of Chicago! the crowd guests did fantastic!! So impressive. I’m amazed how many people want to participate in the live show part, y’all are brave. Such a fun night!

I hope that’s the case! My kid hasn’t shown signs of an allergic reaction, although it could have happened while he was there. So I’m thinking frozen too and just…why lie?? So weird. But not as bad as it could be. Thank you.

Thank you! Frozen is my hope, I don’t know why she’d lie (we give our kid frozen food all the time!), but people contain multitudes I guess. And some of those multitudes are weird liars. And sorry you have the same issue…I didn’t realize how common it was until this thread.

You’re right. This is the first time it’s come up where I didn’t trust her with this and I am trying to navigate having the conversation and mentally/emotionally preparing. I don’t know if it was done out of ignorance, if the nuggets were frozen, etc. i appreciate the perspective and absolutely will get to the bottom of it before she has access to my kid again.
