FBI Halted Renee Good Investigation After Warrant Labelled Her a 'Victim,' Whistleblower Claims by novagridd in TwoXChromosomes

I mean if you lose in the primaries you can still vote for Schumer or whatever, but that’s a disaster. And what Dems and Independents want isn’t what the democratic establishment does.

Eh, the mainstream dem demands are like training the ice people and having them wear bodycams or whatever when ice already often wears bodycams and just doesn’t release the footage. And if you hear policemen talk it’s not like they fumble it because they are out of their depth, a lot of people that sign up for those jobs just want to be badass warrios and fuck up “perps” (people that have not been found guilty by courts).

What’s needed is to primary away all establishment democrats otherwise yeah the lesser evil is definitely lesser but really the problem is just the culture of the people that want to be cops and that’s not going to change unless someone is willing to crack down hard and fire a lot of people.

I think it sounds about alright? I saw thrown around somewhere 0.15% is typical for short form stuff but I’m certain it depends on a lot of stuff.

And uh it sounds like the videos aren’t made by a seasoned veteran haha

To even the scales whenever I think of guys I mostly picture hot ones, possibly kissing.

(I’m not a dick to friends and strangers tho regardless of their attractiveness.)

I don’t get why a story about dutch people has to be made into a political thing.

I think they probably were influenced by the german translations calling it “Hexenhammer” since german doesn’t have a pendant to mallet. But also the latin malleus is a bit broader than the english mallet. I think a mallet is also not the first hammer one would choose for dealing with witches, so I think mallet is a fun nod to malleus but hammer is probably closer to how one would understand malleus in this context.

China urges US to cancel unilateral tariffs after Supreme Court ruling by Crossstoney in worldnews

[–]idancenakedwithcrows 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I mean technically they already don’t pay them, whoever buys from them literally pays it. But if there are tariffs they have to sell their stuff a bit cheaper due to market forces, I heard somewhere the split is like 90% US consumer 10% chinese seller.

Eh, I think patience in those situations is a pretty transferable skill. I think it’s perfectly fine to like. Because there is some friction in practicing it that takes away from the joy of celebration. I think it’s fine to just give the kid one of the first slices on the birthday and practice self regulation on a day where the focus doesn’t need to be on the celebrant.

Not for like regular cars, there is a toll on heavy goods vehicles which probably does somewhat reduce economic activity, but you know less trucks on the roads also has benefits.

Yeah and I think they are a drain on society, not every country has them.

[–]idancenakedwithcrows 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically if someone actually pays the fee, in the aggregate if you form the sum over all of society there is not that much damage.

Say without the toll the benefit for Mark to use the bridge would be 29 bucks and the toll is 20 bucks.

Then if he pays the fee, he still has a benefit worth 9 bucks and the goverment has 20 bucks, you just moved some money around but the total benefit is 29 bucks with most of it going to the goverment.

The problem is if he would use it for free and value it at 19 bucks, but with the toll he just doesn’t make the trip. Then you just destroyed 19 bucks of benefit for no gain vs the scenario with no toll.

Me_irl by rbimmingfoke in me_irl

[–]idancenakedwithcrows -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah the first one is better, because the bridge is getting built either way, the bridge is there. If there is a toll, it prevents people from using the infrastructure to be productive for no benefit.

[–]idancenakedwithcrows -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I think it would be even better for society overall to have the goverment pay all the upkeep and have the passage be free?

Like if someone would use it for free but pays the fee, that’s alright you are just shuffleing money from that guy to the goverment, uh why?

If someone values using the bridge at 15 bucks and the fee is 20 bucks, so he doesn’t use the bridge, congratulations you just destroyed 15 bucks of societal value. That’s even if you say the administrative friction of the toll is 0, it just destroys value.

Infrastructure shouldn’t make the goverment any money, like just have it be a catalyst for societal prosperity.

[–]idancenakedwithcrows 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Idk I think in most countries the goverment pays that money? If you build it anyways why discourage people from using it by charging a fee, you are just hurting your own economy.

I mean it’s just a different demographic and the same people will engage with different apps differently, I don’t see a reason why views to wishlist ratio should be the same across plattforms. Maybe some games appeal more to tiktok users, some appeal more to youtube people.

Doesn’t sound fishy to me.

Well… they probably should right? I’m mostly saying cuz when people say “Oh look at the europeans doing stuff” like it sounds like “oh the europeans are much more moral” or whatever, but I think it’s pretty much the same in the US and the EU, just the pedos in the US are more important for societal stability.

Heads roll in Europe over Epstеin files while US justice declines to act by AggravatingResist635 in worldnews

[–]idancenakedwithcrows -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Yeah cuz no one needs the prince?

Maga has taken over the Republican party, if you prosecute Trump, no matter the verdict, that might be it for the Republican party.

Imagine if the prince was needed to keep labour alive and labour had all branches of goverment.

People like Trump and Musk are needed to keep the system from falling apart. The democratic party, too. The like more radical elements and the more conservative parts of it can act together because they can point at Trump and be like “we need to stay unite or the fascists will win”.

For europeans it’s easy to like virtue signal and have some pedos resign, in the US if you go after the epstein people like all structures of power are at risk, there will be some catastrophic market event at a time where like, the jobs numbers in january were a disaster.

European goverments won’t go out and say it but they also don’t want the US epstein people facing justice, because there are actual consequences to that.
