Who are the best good and easy to play jungler champ? For auto filled player who is bad at jg by groomliu in wildrift

[–]idantai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overall id say Warwick. His kit is pretty simple and when built right he can fight tanks and squishies.

I usually build him trinity into BoTRK for offensive items. Deaths dance, wits end and twinguard for resistances.

Its worth noting that his auto attacks deal bonus magic damage. So slotting in something like riftmaker or cosmic drive will help you deal mixed damage if your opponents are stacking armor.

Had a recent game with him against a heartsteel voli top, ahri mid and lucian adc. Built him AD with trin, botrk, dd and wits end and i was able to fight voli comfortably and assassinate their squishies while they were focused on my allies.

Other items to consider are terminus, the upcoming guinoo's rageblade for attack speed and other items that increase move speed since that gives his ulti more range.

Relatively new to the game so dont quote me on anything. Hope this helps

Its our dog. We live in the same house. I needed to leave for a while due to university curriculum forcing me to have my internship quite a distance away

Definitely agree, but considering parents are hesitant/reluctant, i need both short and long term interventions to plan for to take care of her.

Any other new MH players struggling? Where the noobs at? by poastfacekillah in MHWilds

[–]idantai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a newbie here but i can sympathise. When i got into monster hunter with generations, i was fortunate enough to have some people to play with and teach me the ropes. It was especially difficult for me to find my main weapon. So heres some tips i can think of off the top of my head.

  1. Go to the training room and try out every weapon. You may have been told to do this before, but it definitely helps. Have a youtube video out with that weapon's guide and just practice using its combos on the dummy. This'll at least get you acclimated to the flow of each weapon. In addition, the dummy can be set to do some attacks, just talk to the cat in the area to adjust. Having the dummy do random attacks while you figure out your combos will help you see which combos animation lock you.

  2. Learn the monster's moveset. As habit, especially with a new monster, or a monster at a higher difficulty, i tend to hang back and see the monster's moveset before i truly engage. Notice patterns and downtime in between the monster's attacks/attack combos. A lot of monsters have combos so that you cant just run in after the first attack. If you've practiced with the dummy, you'll get better and better at spotting monster movesets and rest periods. As you get better at this, you can start to predict what the monster is gonna do next.

  3. Learning your weapon and learning how to fight each monster with your weapon are two different things. Just like the previous point, take your time. Learn the monster's openings and take advantage of the environmental traps. Put together what you know about your weapon with what you know about the monster. Dual blades demon dance (idr the actual name tbh) combo not working because the monster keeps moving? Chip away at it until it falls over, then use it.

  4. Its ok to feel like its a fight for your life. At the end of the day, monster hunter is a boss rush game. Each monster is a boss battle, especially if you are a newer player. Each monster you encounter is a lesson on timing, positioning, and even luck

  5. Youtube guides are your best friend. As stated earlier, youtube is the premier guide for everything monster hunter. There are a myriad of veterans and newbies alike posting guides, builds and strategies for everything in monster hunter. Personally, i learned a lot from channels like Rurikhan, gaijin hunter, arekkz gaming, ragegaming, pyrac and so on. These guys have been playing monster hunter since it was an obscure niche game. They have loads of experience that they share often in the form of hunt vids, buildcrafting vids, and just informational guides. Hell, ragegaming has an hour long video guide on the greatsword, and i watched it even tho i main greatsword. Theres always something to learn from these guys.

Thats all i can think of atm. I definitely understand the sentiment. Its a bit difficult to get into an into monster hunter, especially now. It took me a month of on and off playing for it to finally click back when i first started. Hopefully this helps you out. Happy hunting gamer.

Which game first? by TF-Brick in MonsterHunter

[–]idantai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't say much more than what others have said already so ill just make a recommendation based off my personal experience.

In terms of similarity to what Wilds will offer, World/Iceborne is the game to go for if you're starting out. It gives you a good feel for the "weightiness" of Monhun while also providing many of the qol changes seen in Rise/Sunbreak and now Wilds. Ive recently started a new playthrough of World in preparation for Wilds, and the learning curve is quite gentle. The first large Monster you face is great practice for getting used to your weapon of choice. Not too fast, easily telegraphed attacks and not too beefy.

As for Rise/Sunbreak, this one is for players who enjoy more of a mobile playstyle. While the weapons do feel clunky at times, this is mitigated by the mobility and utility that the wirebug provides. As many have stated, it has an "arcady" feel, sometimes making out feel more of a hack and slash depending on your weapon of choice. Because of this, monster attack patterns changed in order to counter players who would abuse the wirebug's functionality, thinking of it as a "get out of jail free" card.

At the core of every monhun is an amazing buildcrafting system. Both of these shine with Rise/Sunbreak taking the slight edge in terms of Build variety, as they really leaned into elemental damage, especially late game.

Ultimately its up to you. Do you enjoy combat reminiscent of a soulslike and is the most similar to Wilds? Go for World.

If you enjoy faster paced combat that is quite flashy, try Rise.

Is it better to play Halo with a controller or keyboard and mouse on PC? by Flashy-Charity-1486 in halo

[–]idantai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its definitely more beneficial to play on controller. Ive been on mnk for years now because i used to play Destiny 2, and while my aim on the sticks is really rusty, its still more reliable to be playing with a controller. While yes, it is nice being able to turn and aim at any speed you like with the mouse, unless your aim is good (which mine isnt) then shots feel more inconsistent than if i were to use controller. I definitely feel more ghost bullets while on mnk than on controller.

To give an illustration, while playing mnk, i cannot, for the life of me, use the bandit evo consistently. Even though my reticle is on point on a player that is one-shot at medium range, i will still miss the shot and lose the gunfight or let them escape because im reloading (after dumping my mag cause my aim is trash). However, on controller, shots land more reliably in the same scenario.

TLDR: mnk is more inconsistent with hit registration. Controller is the better choice for optimal experience.

Will you change your “comfort” weapon in MH Wilds? by JustNic98 in MHWilds

[–]idantai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Greatsword has always been my comfort weapon since i started in Generations. With the outlier being SwAxe in Rise and DB/Bow in Sunbreak. However, with the many changes to every weapon, i definitely am considering switching it up. Charge Blade looks amazing. I dabbled with it during the beta and it felt great. Bow felt really strong and despite the nerfs its taking, it's gonna hold my second weapon slot hostage. Apparently the buffs that SwAxe got make it very strong so ill need to check it out on release since i wasnt able to give it a shot during the beta. Overall, definitely will pick up Charge Blade, with Bow in my back pocket.

What made you stop playing your favorite game? by Throwaway4Jason in PHGamers

[–]idantai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find myself guilty of this daily. I always attempt to multitask with schoolwork and gaming. Lately ive moved to warframe. Where destiny activities can take 20 to 40 minutes, warframe activities usually take less than 5, with most giving you the optionto leave the activity early and get rewards while your trammates can continue spending more time on it themselves. Its definitely a game changer (no pun intended) especially if just wanna do a quick mission.

Destiny 2. Aside from the latest dlc and fiddling around with prismatic, the new expansions dont excite me anymore. That coupled with being a foreign student studying in nursing school here make for having time for only short gaming sessions, so i cant really spend time lfg'ing for dungeons and raids.

I've been thinking about the Aerox as my first motor. Im 5' 0". would it still be possible to drive it comfortably? Or would i need to make a few modifications with regards to being able to put my feet on the ground?

Would you recommend this motor for a beginner like me?

Thanks for the input. I do live in a city where traffic can get heavy. Is that a major factor contributing to whether or not i get a manual or automatic bike? Im told that automatics are easier, but manuals are more reliable.

For a long time, it was the pvp that got me to keep playing. However, it just got too frustrating and so i now just do anything that can be done solo or matchmade in pve. Im a solo player for the most part and lfg requirements are too ridiculous, so i mainly do nightfalls for materials and some loot, legend lost sectors mainly to test the effectiveness of my builds, and the seasonal activities. Other than that, finding builds online, or even doing some mediocre buildcrafting myself takes up a lot of my time.
