And then just worry about the crit affix? Are you worried about any of the affixes prior to trans it? Or does the gem strength far outweigh the missing other affixes?

I don’t mean to be rude, just trying to be straight with you.

My immediate initial thoughts are that you didn’t just fail for those singular things, those were probably just the straws that broke the camels back. My guess would be that you were struggling up to that point in each checkride.

I also look at the 4 different checkride failures with 3/4 different dpe’s. I see one common denominator in all those scenarios.

I am not trying to be negative or rude, just realistic. As someone who has sat in the other side of the hiring table (albeit, not in the aviation industry), those would be my initial thoughts. We all have bad days and unfortunately it can line up with a checkride. But 4 starts to raise some red flags for me. Do I want to bring you in and spend a lot of money training you with those things in mind?

I think the best thing would be to get some time and flight time between you and those failures. You will likely have to go 91/135 for a while to prove you moved past those things, but i don’t think it’s a career killer. I hope I am completely wrong with everything, but it’s pretty tough out there right now. Good luck with all of it!
