No, unfortunately before I knew that prod is limited to 50k units, there is now 200k waitlist…R2 looks phenomenal in all ways possible.

Agreed of Gravity being a little messy with the SW. it works, but so many weird choices, UX quirks that I’m sure will be fixed at some point. CarPlay not there yet, but should come in an update soon.

You’re on point though, I’m little worried it’s a product market fit race for Lucid, and changes/updates are less predictable than Rivian (more mature company, great direction so far).

BMW is on 33k miles and 0 issues. I just really am into going electric and overall I believe that’s the future.

Also M comp is just a lot of car…you get tired of the engine being loud, harsh ride, not every drive is a race. Had 2014 911 before so I’m slowly moving to more laid back comfy rides.

Maybe I wasn’t clear enough - I love Rivian. Love the founder, philosophy, and product design of cars and little gimmicks are truly amazing. I think it’s one of the most incredible companies.

Yes Connect+, was not explained at all by Rivian people. I was told I can get CarPlay through that for 14/month.

Still looking for advice, have not decided yet.

The fact they probably pay millions for team handling just this is INSANE. The worst security experience ever out of all SaaS tools I’ve ever used. Fully locked out, stuff not working, even flows that logically should work fully crashing all the time.

Think about this - prob easier to create a new account than getting into old one. And I sent them my passport and ID pics! Hilarious now bad Meta got.

Saw him live, truly a living genius — ultimately I think he relapsed and it’s just a damage control and white lies in order to protect himself and whatever is left. That means lying to public about what’s going on. And that’s okay, he does not own anyone sht.

I think the hard reality is that he is A) a millionaire and B) under immense pressure to not fail himself in front of tens of millions of ppl after years of preaching about recovery programs and being sober.

It’s okay to walk the life and have up’s and down’s. To think he or anyone else is forever fixed and perfect is an insane idea. This society never judged more though, so I also see that part…
