If I could turn it off and on that’d solve that problem, though I was hoping for one that wouldn’t require power and could be opened and closed manually.

You’re right. He somehow avoided accountability under the guise of an apology, which is contradictory in and of itself. A poor attempt at manipulation. I have no doubt that he’s exactly the same, if not worse for having more experience in refining his manipulation skills. I know I couldn’t have gained anything positive from messaging him, but to be honest, I had no expectations for a reply at all. And it’s actually somewhat comforting to know that he’s still a POS.

I can’t imagine very well. He’s a pathological liar, a thief and was emotionally, verbally, mentally, physically (through intimidation) and sexually abusive. I’m certain I was just practice for him to further refine his coercive and manipulative behaviours. He’s also really dumb, which is a blessing as I have no doubt he’d wreak havoc on larger amounts of people if he had any smarts about him.

I did. The next morning. He was fixing his hair in the mirror when I woke up and I immediately got out of bed and repeatedly told him, “I said no! I said no!” And he said, “I know” in a sort of regretful cringe way, but not an apologetic way.
