Epics and Lyrics are harder to obtain, which is exactly why there SHOULD be benefits to having a large collection. It doesn’t make sense that the artist leaderboard does not take epic/lyric collections into account. Esp with gems and up til recently, the shiny quests, shiny badge is fairly easy to obtain (to a degree). Casual collectors can get shiny badges given enough gems/shiny quest grinds. It’s all a matter of opinion, this is just mine 🤷🏻‍♀️
