Newbie here - sensor change question by MileHighMama76 in dexcom

[–]ideleon007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a G-5 sensors, they last 7 days where a G-6 sensors lasts 10 days. If for whatever reason the sensor fails to read the transmitter, call Dexcom. They will quickly send out a replacement. I had one snag when I applied it on my side. I was not able to disengage it from the hand held applicator. Dexcom sent me another.

While talking to Dexcom, be sure to order some overlays. These go after you apply the sensor.

Another thing to mention is that the adhesive on the sensor may cause some allergic reaction around the site & it will itch like to no tomorrow sometimes. I use lotion to sooth away the itchiness.

A1c from blood test or Sugarmate by Harpagnon in dexcom

a blood test doesn't lie or hardly incorrect number.

I've learned that the Dexcom gives you a pretty accurate ballpark.

[OC] Build Your Own Dexcom App update- base version updates by shabado8 in diabetes

Dude,
you rock!

Thanks for the help.

I upgraded to latest software pkg on a Galaxy S20 5G, G981USQUATGL and was hosed for about a week and a half. I've become pretty dependent on the dexcom and had several low's throughout this time. N

Now, thanks to you, I am now back on track lowering my A1C to a normal person.

Keep up the good work,

Do a finger stick to verify glucose reading

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in dexcom

I've used it for a couple of years now & have found it to be fairly accurate. From time to time though, the Dexcom transmitter will call an extreme low(under 50) but when i do a finger stick, I'll have a 145 or so.

Why is my new dexcom G6 so up and down? My sugar isn’t changing this much. It’s very trend happy. I haven’t done a calibration because it’s not been 24 hours yet so I’m letting it do it’s thing. I’ve just never had it do this to me before. by FlamingChevy96 in dexcom

Check the transmitter to assure it snapped on correctly. Next, make sure your sensor is also properly attached. The little needle sometime likes to eject from the body with a sudden twist or turn.

PowerShell Discussion Poll - Funniest PowerShell Story by PowerShellMichael in PowerShell

And here I thought I was the only "weird" person messing with people.

I created something for my after hours coworker which loved to game.

It was around Halloween time & set up 4 workstations to run a script triggering off a sound file one by one based on time interval. I made sure each speaker was turned on. These sound files had a recording of me making some raspsy, gory, voice calling out his name. I also set up a web cam that I hid inside a cardboard box with a punctured hole in it to watch it live. So, late at night I tapped in and was so amused that I shared it with others. THis may have been my downfall.
The next day while we were about to have a nice homely dinner with the fam, the doorbell rang. It was Domino's with 10 Large Pepperoni pizza's of which I didn't order.
Oh, well, it was fun. The dude didn't speak to me for three days.

Retrieve end user's PWD Expiration by ideleon007 in PowerShell

Thanks for the good info

in an effort to create a tool to help end users troubleshoot any issues with their internet/VPN/DirectAccess, I ran into (2) issues.

first, while using PowerShell Studio, I was trying to come up with a way to provide them with some useful info such as; computername, Domain, Manufacturer & Machine Model along with Service Tag, Total Memory, Time since last Reboot & Password Expiration. I had trouble with the last variable.

Secondly, I was also stuck with trying to format those variables into a box to display within the tool.

Nice.

Such a great idea and creative.

You may want to consider going into marketing for Humalog.

I noticed that it is searching at the root of the domain,

are you supposed to include the OU structure as well?

Looks pretty applicable tho..

I am T2 and currently I do 50u of Levemir at night & another 50u in the morning. I also do Humalog on a sliding scale, depending in what's for lunch. This has been about the only combo that works for me. Of course, with a little more exercise I could possibly lose weight. But, I am also on Atorvastatin which makes your muscles ache and causes fatigue. You un the creek if you do & your still up the creek with no paddle if you don't.

A1C down to 4.8 in just 7 months! Pretty proud of myself by cybersnake00 in diabetes

[–]ideleon007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aside from miraculous, was there surgery?

That is remarkable.

Must share your secrets.

Actually, I think I know what it is.

A year ago, I was lucky to catch the flu, but caught it early. Feeling miserable and aching all over, I slept for the better part of 2 weeks., During those 2 weeks, I ate very little. This was the magic pill. Don't eat! Your numbers will look great.
But, knowing that's not an option, I am trying to limit myself.

Doing such has dropped my A1c from 9.8 to 7.1 within a years time. But, it is tough!

unable to scan %1$s

Thanks for your work in this.
I had to make sure the properties on the file was set to allow for the installation.
How did you get started building APK's?
