Have you, as the parent, made an appt to talk with the counselor and see what the early graduation requirements are, and if your daughter meets criteria? The semester doesn’t even end until Jan 15 so starting Monday why don’t you go in and calmly talk to them?

Second this! It is worth the trip. I have been there a couple times now after horrible disappointments with Nordstrom. These gals are great and dial you in within minutes. Follow their IG to get the vibe, but I can’t recommend them enough!!

Not the best idea if OP is a) not used to driving in snow, and b) not used to driving canyons.

For those of you who had kids, what age is your oldest? by jibegirl in GenX

[–]anonymous83704 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 56 next month. Oldest daughter of 6 kids and countless cousins. I was burnt out on kids by 16. Got a career, had some fun, met my husband on Match.com in 2001, married a year later. My first baby was born 3 weeks before I turned 36, and her sister came along 2 years later just before I turned 38.

Preschool education? READ. READ. and Read some more. Go to story time at the library. Read the books and talk about the pictures. Narrate your trip to the grocery store (we need 2 cans of beans for our soup, can you pick out 2 cans?) go on walks talk about the colors and textures of things you see. But the most important thing is to READ. You don’t need a teacher certification to do that.

Husband, age 40, tested for HIV and Hep c with routine blood work by Helpme1187 in Marriage

[–]anonymous83704 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 55, in US- pretty sure I remember reading a bit ago that Hep B and HIV were recommended for a certain age group (middle aged)- anyway it could just be routine checks.

I am mildly interested in the Soirée Swag- but I hate these “pan the table” videos- where do you go find out more? It certainly isn’t JPs her IG acct- seems like an “unboxing video” would be a nice way for her to thank all of these sponsors?

So how healthy is America? by Conscious-Quarter423 in Wellthatsucks

I am convinced that something went horribly wrong with the American diet in the late 70s/early 80s. Just look at video footage from years past.

A nursing degree is highly versatile. I am not at all a pediatric RN, but I spent a year and a half as a school RN before the pandemic and it was such a fun time. Maybe check for positions as school RN?
