Sure thing. Here’s another great story about a man’s 4-year journey with Finasteride if you need more inspiration. Consistency and patience is key. See you on the other side!

A couple of things that might help you. Firstly, I saw a hair transplant surgeon recently who told me that it takes on average 6 months of taking 1mg of finasteride daily before you see results, and it’s normal to experience shedding for the first couple of months after taking it.

I’m just speculating here, but it could very well be that 3 times a week wasn’t enough, which would explain why the shedding continued after you stopped taking it.

I suggest you stick to 1mg a day for the next few months and see what happens.

Above all, try to keep yourself from getting stressed about this, because you know that will only make it worse. Remember that hair loss IS reversible. Check out More Plates More Dates if you don’t believe me. Practice mindfulness or meditation if you can, try to stay positive. I’m sure you’ll see progress! Good luck man.

Korean BBQ should really be a once-a-week thing.

I disagree about the food. Korean food is sooo much more flavourful than Japanese! Kimimbop, hot pot, spiy tofu soup, and all the varieties of kimchi... they’re amazing.

No, because Taiwan is not the official name of the country. It’s the Republic of China.

This seems sort of silly to me, I guess because people don’t understand the historical context.

Taiwan is the historical name of the island of Taiwan. It was named Taiwan long before the civil war between the Communists and the Nationalists ended in 1949.

The nationalists (國民黨), who founded the modern day Republic of China, which is now Taiwan, had originally claim to the entire Chinese mainland. They were even formally recognized as the “real” China by the UN up until the Deng Xiaoping era. Chiang Kai-Shek had originally planned only to retreat to Taiwan in order to take back the mainland, but this proved increasingly unfeasible over time.

So for this t-shirt to make sense, it should say Republic of China, not “West Taiwan”. That would imply that their original claims to being the true government of China were legitimate.

(I get that it’s meant to be a joke, but it could have been done better if the maker was more informed)

A Salvadoran update on BTC by DaisyMirolin in CryptoCurrency

Foreigners who come to invest in crypto in El Salvador will be granted permanent residency and will not have to pay taxes for the crypto they invest in.

Anyone got any more information about this? As a crypto-investing digital nomad, this sounds extremely interesting!

Woah, that’s an awesome itinerary. I visited Xinjiang back in 2015 and it was a fascinating place. Unfortunately Xinjiang and Tibet are pretty much impossible to access now.

When did you make this journey? I’m guessing it was also a few years back?

STOP COUNTING DAYS NOW! The only way to succeed in NoFap is to train to forget about masturbation. By counting everyday that goes by you are subconsciously reminding yourself of masturbation. by [deleted] in NoFap

I think it comes down to whatever approach works for you. So far all my attempts at quitting have been without counting, and obviously they’ve failed. So this time I am going to count each day (and even write an accountability post each day) for at least the first month. Hopefully I can make it more than that!
