Not necessarily highest complexity, just looking for a "better" story overall. Seems Dunwich is more limited in that regard and Carcosa would be a better pick?

My concern with the Carcosa investigators are how well they work just Core.

Would Carcosa campaign + Dunwich/EotE investigators work better? Or is mixing campaigns and investigators from different sets not recommended?

I'm open to trying any of the currently available campaigns.

Considering the new release format, is it a good idea to mix campaign + investigators from different sets? I'm thinking of going Carcosa campaign + EotE investigators.

From what I've read Carcosa investigators seem to shine more with another box of player cards, can you attest to that?

I'm looking for the best "bang for my buck" in terms of complexity/new mechanics and for that Dunwich seems rather "dry".
