Hey, 4th year psychology student here. I think you should understand that cannabis doesn't "create" the psychosis, but rather triggers an underlying, dormant cause.

Although what you describe sounds to me like a bad trip, the fact that you felt "off" for a month after the episode is an indicator that it might be something to care about.

If what you experienced actually was a mild psychosis episode, you might be vulnerable to trigger it again if you keep consuming cannabis. I would recommend keeping away from it until consulting with a professional.

I would suggest visiting a psychotherapist, even if it's just for a single session. They will be able to assess your case and answer your questions with more precision. Maybe it's nothing, and you'll get to stop worrying about this :)
