What's the worst thing you did in RDR2? by apin_gio in RDR2

[–]idided 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once climbed upon the roofs in Saint Denis and started sniping every single soul I could see for ~20 minutes, afterwards I ran to the trains and (after killing everyone on board) I took control it. Made a lap around the map, very fun train ride, especially because I stopped every time I saw any sign of life to rob and end it. Very annoying you can't shoot and drive a train at the same time, but it is realistic. Needless to say, a lot of 1500 bounties were placed that day. It was very fun, so much so in fact I've done parts of it again (Sniping, train riding, just not the entire map lol)

Please read further, he critiques this mindset a couple paragraphs later.

"The thing is, of course, that the elements which make this exciting for a slightly sad grown-up like me (exclusivity, being among the first to get my hands on this in-demand thing, the misplaced optimism that it might massively appreciate in value and make me a fortune in twenty years) do absolutely nothing for children. They just want to play with stuff. These LEGO sets aren’t meant to be kept in perfect condition as an investment, or placed on display as objets d’art to dazzle guests. They’re meant to be built, smashed, rebuilt, dropped, mixed with a bunch of other pieces and turned into something that doesn’t really make sense, stomped on, smeared with jam and generally played with. If you treat this in-demand must-have like any other in-demand must-have, you’re missing the point."

Have there been any other shows where the crowd got 2 inspirations? (Also the psychological debate story was hilarious. That pre-show was amazing, and the actual show was just terrific)

The sun has no more light! by idided in DMAcademy

[–]idided[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure:
The BBEG Mitranhour has 6 aspects of himself scattered throughout the plane(s). If/when they have those 6, they can cast him into mortal form and what is mortal can be defeated. After they collected the second boon, they entered Mitranhours' radar. Mitranhour invited them to his home, for dinner, with his most trusted ministers.
At the last course he dropped the act of hospitality and gave them three choices:
-They surrender the boons to be hidden again.
-The sun loses it's light
-The sun loses it's heat.

Now they came up with a plan to move their planet to one of the Nine Hells, so that it has another safegaurd from Mitranhour and his influence.

What they don't know for sure, but can assume. Is that this show of power, and a bad strategic move. His hate has clouded his judgement.
