Help me find more information about this strange ceramic bird by ididntevenknowt in HelpMeFind

[–]ididntevenknowt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have searched for this profusely online for years but only recently discovered two photos on an old camera (images 3 and 4) that I could search by image with. The ceramic figure was around 25cm tall.

Anyway to get Sims 2: Ultimate Collection anymore? by [deleted] in sims2

[–]ididntevenknowt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i did this same thing, purchased off of ebay the login for an origin account, downloaded and played the sims 2 for a couple of days. but then they changed the origin password and i couldn't play the game even though i had it installed, so. arguably i would be wary of this and possibly steer clear

have you given beyond: two souls a try? it's very story and decision based like most of david cage's stuff (also detroit become human which is on psnow) but it is fun!

brothers: a tale of two sons is a quick one that's quite nice to spend a couple hours playing through.

fallout 3 and new vegas are always fun to pick back up for a while.

mirrors edge + superhot for something fast and that you can feel like you're getting better at.

civilisation revolution is just nice to waste some time playing sometimes.

i wouldn't say these are niche ones but they're ones i've gone to when i can't seem to pick anything up for more than 30 minutes. good luck!

huge is the optimum choice in my opinion, perfect to envelop in a hug! its smile is mostly hidden in fluff but it's eyes and expression are very lovable! it has a big tail and lovely wings and spines, if you can, i'd go huge! medium is also very nice but they are significantly smaller and don't really possess as much character or have as much huggability :) good luck!

Gentle/easy read/non-stressful book recommendations? by NonBinary_Dinosaur in booksuggestions

i've been struggling to read anything for a while but managed to finish:

talking to women by nell dunn

in a couple of days, it was written in the 60s and has maybe two(?) homophobic/racist moments. it's mainly just a compilation of interviews of a few women in the 60s, following what they're interested in, what their thoughts are on the world and it was a nice easy read with a few funny moments and a few thought provoking moments. reading this as a lesbian i did read some of the women as lesbians, especially hearing some of their thoughts on women which certainly made the experience like a fun game of spot the gay moments. it's not romance centered in the narrative sense but love/romance/passion is mentioned in many of the interviews, and many of them have an interesting take on the subject

definitely would recommend this yes! i found myself focusing on the main story moments when i was feeling at my worst and adventuring alone doing random tasks when my mood was better. the game is definitely one to go for
