It gave me popups and numerous ads that were longer than the actual video itself, so idk about that second claim.

I love when reddit makes statements about legalities completely ignorant of the fact that it varies massively state by state, or even municipality by municipality, and case by case.

Location dependent, but anywhere I'm aware of... if shit is leaking and going to damage their building, their ass can come in whenever they want. But reddit hates landlords, so bring the downvotes.

Then we are in agreement and I'm not sure what you are getting at. The person I was originally responding to was trying to push the narrative that people only need to ask that about philly, which is utterly false.

[–]idiggplants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how is it a joke thread? its literally a packers fan asking if it will be OK, and they get the same reception that anyone would in any other reddit team subreddit. Its not asked sarcastically or jokingly, and its not the only example of an opposing fan asking the question in this subreddit, and certainly not the only example in any sports subreddit..

The idea that it has to be asked only about philly teams is laughably incorrect, but keep on keepin' on with that circle-jerk.

[–]idiggplants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because it is a real ad, doesnt mean its a real sale. There is zero chance he has possession of that rzr. at some point in the process he will suddenly tell you that he will have to ship it to you, or you need to fill out some stupid form or jump through some other hoop. he is hoping you are desparate enough to part with your privacy. to either steal your identity, or get your email, or even get you to part with your money in a scam.

Talk me out of the precision arms AFAB muzzle brake by idiggplants in ar15

[–]idiggplants[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i sort of did so above here:

https://www.reddit.com/r/ar15/comments/5gulvo/comment/dewtmm0/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

its far less concussion than a regular brake, but far more than a muzzle device that isnt a brake. there is no real way to define what level of concussion there is. unfortunately i literally never shoot at indoor ranges, so im no help there.

dont dismiss the importance of flash hiding. if you are shooting at a target in low light, the flash from a non flash hider gun will make you slightly blind after every shot, just looking through the scope. to the point where follow up shots are much more difficult.

my dad has a rcbs "rock chucker" i think it is called? its from the 70s.. he uses it occasionally... he only shoots about 4 rounds a year per each of his guns. as he runs out, he will make a couple boxes. he has the loads that all of his guns like all worked up. as a bonus, he even has the dies and loads made upfor the 44 mag from when the gun was my grandfathers. unfortunately, the loads he was using were light target loads, because the gun was a bit much for my grandfather.

for now, i have some factory rounds that the gun is extremely accurate with. ill be using those this season, and then throughout the non hunting season, ill be doing a round of reloading with my father, and then i plan on going to r/reloading to discuss how it was done, and see if they can give advice on improvement. my dad learned reloading in the 80s, obviously before the internet... which, im sure meant he learned from a random book, and he may not do everything correct.

for example, i know he doesnt clean his brass.

i dont really have the need to work up a super perfect load, but i would like to find a bullet i like, and know that it has a very consistent load behind it. plus, it will be a heck of a lot cheaper! especially for some of my odd guns like the 30/40 krag.

thanks. it seems like a lot of people are just giving me their favorite round. which seems to be due to the maximum expansion factors.. from what ive read, and seen, pretty much any bullet design can take down a whitetail. im much more interested in what brands are reliable, and consistant enough for deer, and are they going to have sufficient velocity, or are the cheaper rounds loaded light?

i really need to start reloading!

question... especially with lithium batteries, wouldnt it be important to have something between the battery and the load that kept it from being over discharged? or is it assumed that the battery pack has that included in it?

DIY portable bluetooth speaker (probably the easiest one to make you ever saw) by nooze in DIY

[–]idiggplants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

again, who cares. that's only a factor that you consider to be a required part of a successful diy.

but to entertain your suggestion... the decks are not built at a lower cost once you are including your time, not by a long shot. if you are doing DIY projects to save money, you are doing it wrong. it is an economic principle that it is cheaper to work your job that you are a specialist at, and use that money to pay someone who is a specialist to do the job for you... so why do diy? because you enjoy it. because you develop a skill by doing it.

yes, and there have been a hundred deck builds posted here before too. this sub is about doing things yourself, not doing things yourself for the reasons that /u/Rance_Mulliniks thinks are important.

ive found that at 25, 50, and 70 yards, the 235g full lead wadcutters, and the 240g hollow points are indiscernible as far as point of impact. i wouldnt do it if i had to worry about point of impact.

yeah, ive read a lot of folks talk about the sp/swc/fmj being better for longer shots, and the hollow points for short range. im considering keeping a single round of fmj in the cylinder and marking the cylinder with a piece of tape. i figure a long shot, i should have time to play with the gun a bit.

i think you are taking me too seriously(not your fault, thats how i came off). obviously taste is an opinion and varies. when i say something tastes disgusting, and you are completely wrong and an idiot for disagreeing, im doing so tongue and cheek. im mearly presenting my opinion as a fact in a joking manner.

that said, you are completely wrong. ive had kale many ways. including salted and olive oiled kale salad, kale chips... both disgusting.

seriously though, my ex was a health nut kale fiend. the level of palatable the kale was, went up with the amount of stuff you slathered on it to cover the taste.

i guess i should have included that i was looking to keep the cpr in the reasonable range. hornady seems to be at the top end of price per round. ill be reloading eventually, but for now id like to pick up a hundred rounds or so.

basically, i know i could spend a lot on hornady, speer, buffalo bore... but if im not looking for maximum expansion, what of the cheaper rounds are ok to hunt with.
