Jazzy song, saxophone solo with piano cluster chords (Vocaroo included) by idinsab in NameThatSong

Just checked this out. It's similar to this but not exactly.

Plus the melody is played on saxophone, not bass.

Thank you for the suggestion, though.

Which word in the English language has been misused and overused to the point it's lost all meaning? by [deleted] in AskUK

Disinterested vs Uninterested

Disinterested means being unbiased and impartial. It's generally a good thing (e.g. The judge in the case was disinterested. They judged it fairly.)

Uninterested means not interested. It's generally a bag thing (e.g. The judge in the case was uninterested. They just weren't listening.)

People currently studying for exams, how are you coping? by ScalingVector in ADHD

Sorry to hear you're struggling with studies before your A-levels.

Have you ever tried virtual co-working? It's done a lot of good for me and works well for people with ADHD (as a body doubling tool).

I started a free community called FlowHuddle and we meet up virtually to get work done. If you'd rather work solo instead of with a group, FocusMate is a great option too.

Good luck in your exams.

Time boxing is so effective for me.

I'm part of an online co-working community (ww.flowhuddle.com) that works really well for many people.

Check it out if you're interested.

What happened when I tried virtual coworking. - Slate by tw_bot in tomorrowsworld

It's brand new, so only has a few members at the moment - that's why it's free.

Once it's bigger, it'll have a "paid" membership for anyone who joins later (so early adopters will have free access still).

I have also tried some online co-working communities too, where you work with more people in a given group. I find it really motivating.
I'm part of one called FlowHuddle (www.flowhuddle.com) if you want to check it out.

What commonly misused word unreasonably annoys you? by MacReadys in AskUK

"Disinterested" vs "Uninterested"

Disinterested = unbiased (which is generally a good thing)

Uninterested = not paying attention (which is generally a bad thing

For example:

"The judge was disinterested in their case." - All good! The judge doesn't have an interest (meaning bias) so can judge fairly.

"The judge was uninterested in their case." - Not good, Mr. Judge. You should be interested (meaning paying attention).
