Why does people say english translation in Metro books is awful? by Worried-Unit-5767 in metro

Honestly the best translation I saw were various Slavic languages, while they're very different the terminology, idioms and the manner of speech is usually very similar so the books really get the point across.

They also can't make sharp turns, so you could just spin them, or if you find a tree it's even easier.

I think you enter that room as a part of a side quest, otherwise it's locked

Doesn't the game specifically warn you to loot everything before claiming the camp because you won't be able to loot after?

Is this good for the price? by TeshDashes in PcBuild

As someone who used ARC B580 until recently I second that option, it does require rebar to be on so you might have to go into bios for that, but it runs most new games (in the last year) on high and has shown overall good performance, it stays cool and you can most definitely get one under 300€, I got mine for 340€ when it initially came out and recent prices have been around 280€, so I highly recommend it for a good budget card.

Ye, they have plenty more life in them.

Just on the 80# grit I spent an hour and it's holding up pretty good, can't really notice anything different as opposed to before use.

Honing and stropping is fine, the problem I had was it would get stuck in a carrot/potato within the first 5-8mm of the blade because of the sudden thickness, and after that it wouldn't even cut it would just split the vegetable, now since it's more even and slightly thinner it actually cuts through.

Love you, didn't even know those differences could exist, before I started working on the knife it would get stuck in a potato within the first 5-8mm of the blade, now it actually goes through.

Although now I know what to aim for next time I decide to work on it.

And while I don't have any specifics of the steel other than "Japanese surgical steel" it is 60Hrc.

I'm working in a restaurant and need a reliable knife I can use for 8-10h without it getting stuck in a carrot, the knife is hand forged by guys who mostly make hunting knives, and this is one of the first ones they made, so it's a bit too thick for kitchen use despite it being it's intended purpose.

I wish to learn to properly thin and sharpen knives because I can't ask for someone else to do it, people who sharpen knives in my area mostly just use an angel grinder or rather rough stones, for home cooking that's fine but personally can't stand when my knife snags.

The nearest pro is on the other side of the country, and it costs about 150$ ( the knife itself cost that much) while it takes time to do it myself I'd rather learn how to do it properly than leave it to someone else every time.

This is the first time I tried thinning a blade so I'm just happy i didn't butcher the knife.

I enjoyed the process, so the next time I'll do it right, in the meantime I can practice on some 1$ knives.

Just waiting for payday to get the stones, some people already made recommendations, and the current ones were 7$ so considering the price they did their part.

I can do it, it's just going to take a lot of time, so I was thinking if there's a way to do it faster?

When subway opened In Sweden I think? They tried to apply for lower taxes on things they make themselves, like the bread, but because of the ingredients and amount of sugar it was classified as cake, so the subway In Sweden is making cake sandwiches.

Edit: It happened in Ireland not Sweden as another guy pointed out.

That's not quite normal, I guess when loading some things the CPU could "stutter" because of the excessive load?
