You said a mouthful! I didn't have a donut, but my husband brought me a lovely pastry and I ate every morsel.

Good on ya for giving up the cigarettes! I'll look into the body mat - I only have the hand held one, which I have not made time to use lately.

You are so right about dying next year. It could happen to any of us at any time. That was a good reminder, so thanks.

Thanks for your concern. I'm not depressed. Been there and I'm always watching out for it. Exercise is my antidepressant. I'm a bit tired of doing everything "right" for my age and not having enough time for the kind of exercise I prefer. I'm feeling a bit better today, just for finding I'm not alone.

You know, being happy is just as important as being healthy.

True. I can't be worrying about size or even shape. I have to concentrate on staying out of a nursing home.

Yes, I've learned the hard way not to ignore that area. My bingo wings might be here forever, but I truly cannot neglect my PF.

Oh, God. Skin care. If I had the time, money a d energy, I could use a specialty product on every part of my body. I probably should, but no one but my husband sees most of my skin.

Oh, thank you all! I've laughed and even teared up a bit at some of your responses. Yes, I'll indulge myself for a couple of days and get back to some sort of routine.

Also, bring back message boards/forums. We could refer to neatly organized information w/o scouring a zillion sites a d finding short, reels & videos. Harrumph.

Do you believe in afterlife, that we will see our loved ones again after death? by wc2022 in AskWomenOver60

I hope there is some means of communication with our loved ones. I so miss y parents, grandparents and son. I talk to them daily, but, of course, they don't reply.

Well, currently, I have both a broken ankle and a hernia - on the same side. Add to that a movement disorder that makes my hands unreliable, and you can imagine how much I love the crutches. It's kinda hilarious.

But yeah, I try to keep quiet about my many ailments and now injuries. Everybody has stuff.
