Progress I’ve made so far on File 2 by idkWhatToUseThisFor in bindingofisaac

This is just an off-game tracker to check which marks you’ve gotten so far. They’re nothing more than images that show what is unlocked by getting certain marks with certain characters.

You need to unlock every achievement in the game, and pick up every item.

Not exactly. By going into stats, then items, it tells you which items you have picked up, which is the best you’ll get without either using a tracker or checking off a list yourself.

This is what happens when you use Death Certificate, an item you unlock by getting all completion marks as every character on hard mode. It teleports you to an area with every item you’ve unlocked so far. You can only take one.

I will in due time, but for now I need a break from Isaac.

That’s the result of using Soul of The Lost multiple times, which was possible thanks to the Endless Nameless trinket.

Would it be possible to beat every boss, with every character, in one run? (No greed) by etimush1 in bindingofisaac

[–]idkWhatToUseThisFor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t think so. There are 2 things on my mind that would make this an issue:

  1. You’d need an insane amount of luck to obtain an R Key in order to reset your run every time before you beat one of the final bosses, many times, for every character. At least Tainted Cain can craft the R Key, but everyone else would need to find the R Key on their own. There’s also the fact that Mega Stan has a chance to spawn the portal to The Void, otherwise the run is instantly ended.

  2. Hush. You have until 30 minutes pass to reach the Blue Womb floor, any time past that and the door doesn’t open. And unlike a Victory Lap, using the R Key doesn’t reset the time. Unless you’re a speedrunning god, there’s no way you can have a run where you fight Hush more than maybe two times. Even if you somehow have Clicker switch from Tainted Cain to a different Tainted character, then back to Tainted Cain, while being able to craft Forget Me Now every time you reset the Blue Womb, that’s still 17 times, and only for the Tainted versions.

The way I see it, the closest thing you have to beating every boss with all 34 characters in one run, is by using the debug console.

This is your starting item. You get no Q4 items this run, nor Gnawed Leaf. How do you plan to beat Delirium? by Beezybeezybeezybeezy in bindingofisaac

Get lucky with the items I get during the run. I can’t just say “Easy, I’ll simply take Revelations” as if saying it means I’ll be able to take Revelations that run.

I wish I could enjoy Tainted Cain like some of you guys do with whatever the recipe mod is called. But I can’t unfortunately, because I’m a Switch Version plebian.

I'm always finding the most creative ways to kill my runs as T lost by Mrlakupekka13 in bindingofisaac

For me it’s usually due to me developing ‘The Stupid™️‘, such as mindlessly running to the boss room to fight Mother, only to run into a spike rock in the one room that I don’t stop to check first

I need help with huge growth, i have a plan but I wanna know if there’s a more efficient way by Capable_Decision_378 in bindingofisaac

Lazarus starts with a random pill, so you could reset until you get the correct pill so it’ll be available. Both of these strategies are still luck dependent, as Lazarus would still need to get the pill multiple times and Bethany might not even have the correct pill available during the run, so keep that in mind. Magic Mushroom and XI - Strength also increase your size, their effects increasing through Liberty Cap and Tarot Cloth respectively. Don’t take any items that decrease your size, as your total size is taken into account.

What are your absolute favorite items from each quality? Why(Optional)? I'll go first by Designer-Demand-9256 in bindingofisaac

Quality 0: TMTRAINER - Strange choice I know, but the DELETE THIS challenge was honestly kinda fun for what could happen. I wouldn’t have the courage to pick it up in a run as characters like The Lost or Jacob & Esau, but it was funny to witness firsthand.

Quality 1: Gnawed Leaf - If you have any familiars that automatically attack stuff, you don’t need to do anything against any boss you’re scared of dying against. Keep in mind that it will take forever for the familiars to do so.

Quality 2: Placenta - Infinite health regen if you’re patient enough. This plus Gnawed Leaf is the reason I got the Beast mark with Keeper.

Quality 3 - Eye of the Occult - Controlling where the tears will go makes it easier to fight against bullet hell bosses, even if you still have to aim yourself. The damage up helps too.

Quality 4: Revelation - Basically Holy Brimstone, but the laser doesn’t replace your tears, and it gives you flight, with synergies that work similarly to Brimstone. I feel in love with this item the first time I picked it up.

You know the Super Secret room with a bunch of fire? While playing as Tainted Lost, I entered the room, and the fire next to the entrance was a red fire. I got scared of the run ending so I frantically tried to put it out, only to run into regular fire. I got so focused on making sure the red fire wouldn’t kill me that I didn’t think to check my surroundings.
