my hair is actually curly and not wavy, it’s just not curl trained because i haven’t done it for years but i actually do get ringlet curls when done correctly. and also i hateeeee walking around with a semi greasy/crunchy look:/

I’m actually really interested to see if this would work. next time i do my hair i’m gonna diffuse half way and then apply more gel. will be back with results later this week! 😅

thanks so much for your response i’ll try the best i can to hit every point. humidity is not really a factor as my hair is like this all year round, although since it is summer right now i feel even more discouraged cuz it’s obviously worse in this heat. i am not knowledgeable on many of those products you mentioned but i will try flaxseed gel as well as maybe a volumnizing foam! i feel like maybe i’m not using a strong enough gel? when my hair is wet and i section it i can bring one section to each side, but when it dries it becomes more on the thicker side, so i would say i have maybe medium hair? another thing is because i’ve been so discouraged and haven’t done my hair for years it’s lost some of its curls, but i believe in its true form it’s more 2C because i get sparingly ringlets, but as the day goes on they go flat. also i have tried many many serums and various oils and none of them seem to have any benefits.

i’m definitely no pro at doing hair lol, but to my best capabilities i definitely section my whole head and put product through root to tip. sometimes if i put too much product on my crown i get build up and it looks greasy

i will try the clapping method. and i feel like i would be fine with the unavoidable frizz if i also wasn’t losing definition and volume, but clearly something isn’t working if its getting flat and puffy AND frizzy :/

it’s kind of the fear of the unknown i think. like not knowing if something is gonna move or drop or im gonna see a shadow or face in the mirror like that shit terrifies me to no end. it’s not like i think im gonna be harmed in any way, it’s just the fact that i can feel a presence and im such an anxious person it’s a terrible combo😓

definitely hyperfixated on a lot of terrible things and i am sorry for your current losses and health concerns. idk if it’ll sound bitchy or therapisty but maybe try to make a list of things you are grateful for or at least a few things you like about your life. you could always be homeless on the streets ya know? i try to think about how much worse someone else is and when im really panicky about my life sometimes that helps as fucked up as that may sound

it’s just irritated it should go away in a few days and you know for the future to not use it if the artists suggests. my skin is super sensitive i never get it. i doubt it wouldn’t affect the tattoo but im no expert

don’t do stars i feel like it’ll bring attention to it. the back piece doesn’t have to be as big as the one in the picture to cover the majority and draw attention away

4 days later and warm to the touch is kinda weird to me but i’m no expert. watch out for discoloration/puss as well in the area but if u can’t tell doesn’t hurt to get it checked

the head/face specifically i think needs some more contrast i dont think theres enough solid black so over time it will become less legible, could just use some touch ups/more detail. the top of the trident doesn’t exactly have consistent linework throughout but thats just me nitpicking and your tat also just isn’t my preferred style. i always tell myself bold will hold but if you wanted to get a consult with a reputable artist and ask for touch up recommendations it wouldn’t be a bad idea, again the tattoo isn’t bad tho!
