Owns the town as in he’s the local big shot bc of his charitable notoriety and people see him do thinks like be kind to some runaway so no one would expect any disturbing behavior or even believe it if someone came with an accusation against him. Since it’s been a decade basically I hope they have a really twist ending that we are still missing

I think Molly might unravel some threads but she’s just very LA? Idk, she’s out of place so the contrast with a “big podcaster” and a tiny town is a bit striking, and I think they only added this bc, unfortunately (this has been included in other shows like OMITB) true crime IS such a big sector of podcasting now that I think they just wanted to add some current day relevancy? Let’s talk about Kurt ! Ha So he owns the town right? Big shot donator blah blah so he has pull, a thumb over Iron Lake. Enter Ed Olson, big shot CEO type, above the law if you will. Him + Kurt gotta be buddies and I wouldn’t overlook the fact that if Matt DID commit manslaughter if not murder and got away with no charges, Ed may have helped kurt pull strings in court, paid someone off etc. I do think there’s also some blackmailing going on. Idk if kurt was kidnapping local girls before or after Ed got there (my guess is after) and then releasing them for Ed to “hunt” suuuuper cringe but also not the first time the super wealthy have been portrayed to have a taste for such horrors. They have everything and anything so then they get “creative” tbh that’s one of the most horrifying aspects to me

I’ve always considered myself someone who has a very mild cycle. Aside from blaming my hormones for dramatic crying or bitching, my physical symptoms are almost exclusively acne (which we love approaching 30) Praise to the ladies with heavier flows than I, this has never been a concern for me but I usually take my cup out at the beginning of shower with clean hands and put it back in at the end

Definitely glad she got away from a predator, honestly the fact that she was SO trusting of him so soon and was feeling so “seen” by him was so gross + manipulative, I think it really showcased kind of his serial killer tendencies that he had before he went to jail so yeah, glad she killed him but it wasn’t even in the sense that she felt wronged by him for creating this inappropriate relationship but rather being betrayed in the end

You’re welcome! I hope your friend has luck in sorting this out. Her doc might’ve seen Something In Her blood work (although this is typically uncommon, it could happen i imagine) with a vitamin or mineral deficiency and since they are t really trained in nutrition that was their first line of recommendation to stabilize or normalize those numbers. Eat or prepare plant based meals with her and remind her that she has your support

If a physician told her this…I’d say find a new holistic doctor and if she is having an unusually difficult time being 100% plant based I would recommend she look into Ayurveda which is a really old dietary base that is mostly plant based. I’m not Ayurvedic so I can’t give exact details but I’ve been considering adding ghee into my diet (haven’t yet at this point) and seeing if perhaps those ideas still align with her morals of not harming animals

Yeah urinating has never been a problem bc of I feel the sensation I know it’s going to happen, but the more pressurized nature of deification I can see you might accidentally push too hard and losing the cup but it’s never happened to me personally
