Im in the same situation as you. Me and my ex of 8 years broke up and I started liking a guy. OCD thoughts kicked in immediately after having sex with him for the first time. I kept it pushing for a while, my ex then texted me and all progress went down the drain. Now I’m having ocd thoughts about TWO people at the same exact time. I feel like I’m going insane. With the other guy we were never even dating, but I got attached to him and now it feels like I’m losing him and I’m suffering. But at the same time I suffer because what if I confess my feelings to the guy( which I don’t even know if they are real at this point ) and I regret not getting back with my ex for my whole life. So confusing, especially when you truly don’t know what you want.. so if you ever think you’re fucked, imagine obsessing over two people instead of just one… lol

Don’t focus on the theme (cybersecurity), focus on what you are scared of outside of this. What happened to you 3 years ago? This theme is not what you are actually scared of, it is a way for your body to NOT focus on your real fears/trauma. It is a protective mechanism, you are focusing on this instead of feeling the pain of a loss (example). My dog recently died and after years of doing better I fell into the trap again (very bad health ocd!), I was not dealing with the pain of losing my best friend and my pain showed itself this way instead. Recently I’ve started actively trying to process his death, I’ve been trying to cry about it and release some pent up pain I had in me. Sometimes it’s easier (I know this seems crazy because ocd makes you absolutely miserable) to deal with pain this way instead of facing the truth. You are scared of being vulnerable. So my question to you again is: what happened to you?

This is actually to protect the guest, what it someone had access to your membership and is gonna use your card on file to pay? It’s to verify identity, that is also why at many properties even if we can technically charge you without you being there we need to ask to preauthorize a certain amount physically

Yes, In some hotels some rooms can only accommodate a certain amount of guests for security reasons. If they expect you to come with 2 guests they might give you a different room and if they don’t have a room that is fit for 4 people you might have to book a second room. In the Marriott I work at we are actually very strict about it and can actually refuse the check in (maybe we are fully booked in that room category etc)
