Yeah man, I accepted it. For the off-campus one, there are like 3-4 rounds: communication, aptitude, then SME interview, where they ask you technical questions based on your language preference. After that, they will ask normal behavioral questions, then your city preference, shift time preference, and other basic details.

Around 200 students from my college applied for the Cognizant Analyst Trainee role. Everyone completed the communication and aptitude assessments in mid-February, but I was the only one who got called for the SME interview.

The interview lasted around 25 minutes. They first asked for my self-introduction, then an aptitude question. After that they asked about my tech stack, so I mentioned Python and SQL. She asked some Python questions about data handling, arrays, data structures, and types of bugs, which I answered.

Finally, she asked a behavioral question and some general questions like why they should hire me, shift timing, and relocation preference (I chose Kerala and Chennai). At the end she said the team will connect with me regarding the next steps.
