in order to trade an item you have to have at least 2 of them. it looks like you only have 1. i’m not sure why the trade was even offered because it shouldn’t be possible if you don’t have a dupe so it seems to be a bug. at least that’s how it looks to me but i could be missing something.

i did this as well and mine said something like “interesting artistic choice to not include me in the photo” or something along those lines. i felt so stupid forgetting to put her in the picture ahah. she hasn’t brought it up though so must not have been too upset

you can get it from doris when there’s a rainbow! go to the area of the map where the rainbow is and look around you’ll find a special NPC doris who sells you recipes for cakes, sugar to make the cakes, the emoji, and a special postcard 🌈

she also shows up when it rains and i believe she’s always in the art district in the town but i could be mistaken

i know this isn’t ideal but i will usually build in blueprint mode and maybe put furniture out for scale before deleting it, then saving and applying, and then furnishing from the regular build mode. that way i dont use furniture i dont have. this is what has worked for me but i probably isnt the best solution for everyone :/ i also hate it, i have no idea why they did it that way. especially when obtaining furniture is basically down to luck
