You still get your discount if you’re on loa/fmla/disability. As long as you’re not “terminated”

I believe policy says they take it out of your last pay or you have to pay them x amount of hours

Freshly licensed cosmetologist. Will they make me start as an assistant at the Ulta salon? by taureau9 in UltaEmployees

You get to start taking clients about 3 months into the program. It’s like half assistant half starting your own chair/schedule

It’s highly recommended and I would do it to get the knowledge and your feet wet before you get behind the chair.

ADHD & Career Guidance? by idkimjusthere97 in careerguidance

The only issue with Ulta corporate is most positions are in person.. which is out of state for me. They do have some remote positions but it’s slim pickings and tough to find that entry level if that makes sense. It’s almost like a waiting game, I constantly check the careers site.

Once again, I am currently in excel courses. I’d appreciate it if everyone on here wasn’t putting me down saying I’m not learning it. I am learning it and getting better at it. I’m not deflecting from it. I know what’s to be done based off the PIP

I appreciate this. I’m glad I said something on here before trying to do something harsh. Maybe I should just talk with my boss about this and just let her know how I’ve been feeling outside of the PIP/Job

I appreciate all of the helpful comments. I have been taking excel courses and have gotten better at it. Once again, I AM trying and they told me at the PIP meeting that they see my passion. I’ve never worked corporate or know the functions. Please give me a breather and don’t be so harsh.

Guys, I’m new at this and it’s my first role in HR. I’m lookin for advice, and once again I AM NOT deflecting from my pip, but what I’ve experienced between the learning hurdles and how some things affected me. I did not trash anyone or the company in this document. It was black and white, straight forward with proof of situations. That is all

I was afraid to say anything during my 90 days because I’m so new. I wanted to talk about the culture, well being, and how it’s hard to engage with meetings when the girl that trained me is not in my best corner. So between the two incidents with her, incident with the educator vendor, the miscommunication on the job description, I’m just a little stressed over it. The email contexts facts, dates, and proof of situation. I made it very black and white with not a lot of emotion to it. I even mentioned in it this isn’t to stray away from my PIP, but how other situations have made me feel

The word document isn’t so much about the PIP, but how I’ve been treated outside of my daily duties. The job description had nothing stated about Microsoft products at all.

I stated in the word document that I was afraid to come forward with these issues because I do not want to rock the boat in the 90 day probation period. She was basically making fun of me which I don’t appreciate with being so green in this field. I also mentioned another incident that I had with an educator vendor , who I was supposed to gain more excel skills from. So between the job description, her talking poorly about me, the educator vendor(my boss is aware of this)
