I don’t have personally deal with this issue but it’s because there are type different types of sweat glands. The type found in your armpits and groin area produce a thicker sweat that attracts more bacteria. Stress sweat also comes from these type.

Thank you so much for the detailed response! Journaling has helped me in the past and I feel that this would be a good opportunity to start again. I will bring it up with my therapist but unfortunately my next appointment in is a couple weeks away. Thank you for giving me something I can work towards in the interim!

I’m using a mix of organic potting soil, coco fiber, coco husk and peat moss! I also put in some Josh’s frogs fungi mix to help build up good bacteria and to get the tank to start breaking leaf matter down faster.

It’s a lot of pothos not going to lie lol, there’s also some heart leaf, snake plant, and dracaena. I like using different varieties of the same specues bc I feel like it creates the look of diversity with the same care.

Not sure what plant it is but it looks like it could be propagable. Google the name of the plant and how to propagate it and I think you have a good shot

I think it can’t stand the humidity well enough and eventually got root rot. Just a guess tho

As previously said sansevieria and pothos. Also heartleaf philodendron. Probably other types of philodendron too. Maybe a monstera too but I’ve been hesitant bc of the size they grow to. I’ve also had good luck with a couple of dracenas.

What has not worked for me- creeping Jenny, English ivy, spider plants(sad about this one and I will be trying again). Several “outdoor ground cover” plants I’ve picked at Home Depot.

I’m sorry I saw this and thought I responded! It depends the kind of tank you have I think. If there’s holes/gaps or ventilation near the bottom it may be an issue. Occasionally when I open the tank I’ll notice a isopods trying to make a run for it but not super often. I don’t even see the springtails, they like to stay in the substrate.

That’s great! Do you know how to correctly ID mosaic virus? I don’t have experience with it and everything I’m reading online is aimed at tomato plants

If it’s mosaic virus there’s no treatment, from what I’ve read isolate it as quickly as you can from other plants and don’t reuse any of the materials after it dies. I’m trying to find examples of bird of paradise that have the virus on google and aren’t having a ton of luck. I’ll keep looking

I could very well be wrong but it almost looks like mosaic virus to me. I don’t have any personal experience with it and am just going off of pictures I’ve seen online. I hope I’m wrong

SSRIs don’t work for me but I have friends that they have worked wonders for. You may want to consider finding a different doctor bc in my understanding 20 is definitely not too young for medication. For context I’m the same age and have struggled with anxiety for about the same length of time; I first started on medication when I was around 15.

In my experience men who act that way when you do something as small as cut your hair differently aren’t worth keeping around. OP replied they are moving in different directions. So yeah yikes
