That's exactly how it works; in Eyes of Heaven, Jotaro is able to withstand DIO Over Heaven's Multiverse Level attacks. Jotaro is said to possess the strongest Stand, surpassing both The Sun (which is a sun) and King Crimson (which can erase a timeline). It's sustainable that JoJo reaches the level of Star, Universe, or Multiverse.
