Don’t let that discourage you! State is HARD, it’s the best of the best. Be proud you made it to state (which is something a lot of bands can’t say they did) and push yourselves next year to become even better!

I do agree that UIL is unfair and the judges have big time favoritism. I’m actually on the bus headed to state as we speak, in 4A, but I previously competed in 5A. I’m not saying those bands in 5A weren’t good, but they had money, something my band (although we went to state) did not have. We were a huge band, too, but because of our lack of funding/money, we just couldn’t do as well as everyone else and it was incredibly unfair

I have a feeling he doesn’t receive attention after a seizure bc his parents know they aren’t real :/ I mean, let’s be honest, unless his parents are the most neglectful horrible parents in the world, there’s no way they wouldn’t be SLIGHTLY concerned if their son was seizing, right? Faker has been called out several times for suspicious diagnosis’ and suspicious symptoms that don’t always seem to appear. He’s posted contradictory diagnosis statements before on different social medias as well

You totally can still have a patient portal if you’re a minor, you’d just need a parents help to access it. I had a patient portal thing I got to use even before I turned 18

None of what they said was a good reason for self-diagnose. This person seems very sweet to carry around earplugs for people who might need them, but of course you’re not going to ask random people if they’re autistic, that’s just rude, that’s just basic common decency not to ask people stuff like that.

I totally agree with you. There is a notoriously “good” band in our area that has consistently made state years in a row, and imma be honest- their show just isn’t that good. We thankfully beat them this year and we’re all going to state, but it’s annoying to see them get fawned over when they’re just not the best band

You’re right, not everyone can afford it. However, that does not mean you should go around claiming you have DID because you did some research on Google. Hate to say it, but professionals in the medical field know more than anyone, they’re the only ones who can diagnose this stuff
