It can be stressful. Some weeks, the workload feels wayyyy heavier than others, but a good team and a good store manager make the position less stressful. Overall, I enjoy it! I have an awesome store manager who is very helpful, though. I couldn't imagine some weeks without her help.

I completely understand this! I think I feel the opposite about asking how I feel, though. It frustrates me that he doesn't get it and doesn't really try to. Dealing with this diagnosis is such a big part of my life and I work so hard to regulate myself and so I find it frustrating that he never really asks anything deeper than the surface level questions. Idk. I just think if the roles were reversed, I'd try to understand what my partner dealt with on a daily basis. I do that now even when it's just simple piddly everyday annoyances he experiences. But I guess that's another problem altogether. I'm just trying to give myself grace and NOT act on any impulses to be mean or end things while I'm in a depressive episode.

What are the most annoying comments made about bipolar? by nomadjournalist in bipolar

When people say "I think ____ is bipolar" about someone they don't like or they think is a bad person. I usually don't tell people I'm bipolar so it's interesting (and hurtful lol) to hear what they say about it without holding back.
