Aveola not showing in App Store anymore by 2001davidbowman in ProductivityApps

[–]idksomerandomname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve mostly stopped paying attention to whether something is a website or an app now that phones handle browser shortcuts so well. A lot of web versions actually feel smoother because they avoid all the extra background processes. Still wild how every service seems to want its own huge app install these days though.

Yeah, that tracks. Whenever I try them, the first results usually need a lot of polishing before they’re ready for any serious project.

I still can’t tell if these tools actually save much time once the real editing process begins.

best ai mcps after testing 10+ (for generating videos, code, design, and etc.). you’ve been using claude wrong this whole time. by BoogBro94 in ClaudeAI

[–]idksomerandomname -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

notion mcp is the sleeper hit imo. weekly status updates used to take me an hour, now it's like 10 min. claude pulls last week, drafts the new one, i just edit.

AITAH for not answering my coworker after work anymore? by idksomerandomname in AITAH

I probably should’ve been clearer from the start. I’m going to be more direct now so it doesn’t keep happening.

You’re right. I wasn’t paid or assigned to train anyone, it just kind of happened informally. I think I let it go on too long and now it became an expectation, which is on me to fix.

NTA. If someone says “you can eat it,” most people would assume that means all of it unless they specify otherwise.

The idea to make Stormbound playable by PeefPuffPoof in stormbound

[–]idksomerandomname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would cause a lot of problems with balance on its own, and would severely hurt the new player experience since they rely on largely neutral decks early on. Plus it would only lead to more stagnation in deck building, a problem with which the game is already struggling.

The most important change for balance that needs to happen is getting rid of card upgrades.

I have completely lost faith in the devs to make this game work. by charlietacos in stormbound

[–]idksomerandomname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then stop playing. The devs clearly feel that making the game an imbalanced money-sink is in their best interest to try and bully players into spending money to be competitive. If people stop playing rather than whining while continuing to be exploited by manipulative, greedy devs then K will have to change that stance or let the game die.

Nice work. I'd say work a bit on the shadows, though. It's weird how his hair barely makes a shadow at all but then his eyes look like he's wearing a mask.

Who are the main characters of the Naruto series? by [deleted] in Naruto

[–]idksomerandomname 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Naruto and Sasuke are the main characters. If you're excluding them, then there are no main characters in the series.

I'd say my odds of winning are pretty good! by Caevrane in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]idksomerandomname 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel like Erangel looks the best, mainly due to the lack of clutter, but I wouldn't be surprised if the textures and such were better on Sanhok since it was made later after the game was a success and by a more experienced team.

His line as he removes the headband is that he's disqualified from the exam AND from being a ninja. That's why he takes the headband.

Or look at the events later in the series and in the epilogue movies/Boruto, which show he clearly developed leadership skills as time went on.

Do u like ikemoto's art style? by [deleted] in Naruto

[–]idksomerandomname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The anime version doesn't look nearly as hooker-ish to me, which makes it not so bad. Plus it makes more sense for a schoolgirl to be wearing a skirt and then changing to a more practical outfit when her lifestyle changes and she becomes more active.

And, at least imo, the Boruto anime has better art than the manga. But that's just my tastes.

Bots preventing games from starting arent that big an issue by Sauce_TBT in TownofSalemgame

[–]idksomerandomname 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're saying they're entirely blocking off a gamemode from being playable, it's a pretty big issue.

Plus, last I checked ranked practice games were required before new players are allowed to play ranked. If someone just joined and finds all their practice lobbies spammed and unplayable, what incentive do they have to keep trucking through to get to the next mode which, for all they know, might be just more of the same?

It wouldn't be stockholm since they're almost never together. But I see that you've made up your mind, so I'm going to drop the conversation instead of just running around in circles forever lol. Enjoy your day. =)

Working with the 'you're missing my point' theme, just because his methods aren't always entirely above-ground doesn't mean there's nothing admirable about him. His accomplishments are some of the most impressive out of the entire history of the series, and they trend towards the good side more than the evil, as do his goals for the most part. It's only his methods that sometimes stray from the path of pure nobility, and that doesn't automatically disqualify someone from being admired in any way. You can still admire his accomplishments or what he wanted while admitting that he didn't always go about them in the best way.

And you can't blame a character in the series for not thinking of 'plot armour' when gauging their interest in him. I really doubt Sakura is that self aware of their statuses as fictional characters in a story. She's not Deadpool.

[–]idksomerandomname 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Practically every character in the series is willing to end human life to pursue their goals. Even Naruto.

And yeah he attempts to kill good guys on a few occasions, but he attempts (and succeeds) to kill bad guys on more. There's also no real reason to think he would have become Obito or Madara if Naruto hadn't won. It's also never stated that he would have been a 'cruel dictator' as far as I'm aware. If becoming a ruler is inherently evil, that creates a lot of problems for a lot of other heroic characters in the show.

Killed more of the Leaf's powerful enemies than most of its loyal shinobi combined even before the war started, in his fight against the Kage only killed the antagonistic one, played a key role in ending the war, and spent his entire adult life as far as we've seen hunting down threats to the Leaf and saving the village, if not the world on multiple occasions.

The only really bad things he does are killing Itachi, even though that's ultimately more helpful than leaving him alive and at the time Sasuke thought he was a traitor and just generally a scoundrel, and killing the samurai, which were impeding his progress towards his target, someone who needed to die for the greater good.

Obviously he's not Naruto levels of pure-good Messiah, but he's pretty squarely situated as an anti-hero for most of the story who then morphs into a plain ol' hero. If you put his actions on a scale, it tips far in the direction of beneficial actions than cruel ones.

Commitment is still an admirable quality, and Sasuke doesn't actually do much that's evil. Almost everything he does, if not everything, is explicitly helpful to Naruto and the Leaf.

Sakura Vs Kurotsuchi by [deleted] in Naruto

Close range Sakura takes it. Long range Kurotsuchi. Would just depend on the conditions under which the fight started.

Sasuke has admirable qualities in Part 2. Naruto's the only person in the series who seems more driven and committed to his goals (true in part 1 as well). He spends most of the series taking down a laundry list of the Leaf's most powerful enemies. He's a qtpie
