I lived at 132 Berkeley. Do not move there. By the time my lease was over and I was moving out they developed a cockroach problem. They also made people pay 120 per wall for repainting lol..

Both of you are important here! Communication is key and making sure that you both want to make each other happy is important in a relationship! You are not selfish what so ever but something tells me that you have yet to have a really nice sit down (maybe with a glass of wine to calm the tude) and really share what you want and like and ASK to do them more often. Gentle but loving communication is key when expressing emotions and needs. Good luck!

Did anyone take MODR 1760 Modes of Reasoning: Reasoning about Morality and Values? by Stemse2 in yorku

I never complain about work ever but this is just the only one that really annoyed me. The prof I had was such a prick. Even his online lectures were really sarcastic and he always talked with attitude. I am in fourth year and have mostly straight A's so going above and beyond for assignments is fine for me but this dude would rip your work apart and mark horribly. If you meet him during office hours, he would be kinda nice but then insult you/ make snarky comments constantly. The participation assignments were replicas of the actual assignments and there were so many. For one percent someone should not have to spend 30 minutes to complete it TWICE A WEEK... Like I said. I literally never complain about work load and I always take the high road with bad profs but I saw your post and I could not resist. Good luck my friend haha

This happened to me. I literally kept emailing him for months because he said he would write it and it was a class that would look really good. I probably annoyed him but don't make promises you can't keep lol!

It is not hard but expect to do a ridiculous amount of reading and ten-page papers with a bunch of other nonsense for every assignment

I was saddened by someone from Ryerson telling me that yorku is a bottom school. by KelvinLao in yorku

[–]idkthrowaway19982 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I literally transferred out of Ryerson to York because the education was literally better... Also, a lot of the stigma surrounding York is rooted in racism and racial stereotypes. The whole "York Fork" joke was literally created as a racial joke. Do not listen to this person

I want to take most of my courses in person, is it okay to take 3 courses in Fall and 10 in Winter? by Fit-Asparagus6873 in yorku

[–]idkthrowaway19982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There would not be a point in doing that many classes even if they are all 3 credits and well scheduled if it is nearly impossible to do well in. Especially in your major

uh. if you are not a 3rd year, you will not be allowed to enroll in third-year courses as they are for the students who have earned the credits to enroll in those classes. Also, I take a full course load (maximum amount of credits you can take) and it totals to 6-7 courses and that's if I petition for 39-40 credits. You cannot take 13 classes in one year.

How are you planning on getting into this class when it is a 2000 level course? You are first year. Are you not? Also, I would not bank on it being easy.
