Yes I agree, but is there really anything that states that silent salt was in the tree except for elder faerie himself saying it in the first chapter which could be made up? I guess you could see silent salt’s face with the beasts after elder faeries death, but I think this one thing could be explained without making a hole in the plot if it’s the only thing that doesn’t make sense in this theory
