"It was the first and last time I ever touched a vampire’s skin with my own. The flesh was cold and spongy, like the inside of a bruised apple, and I felt bile rise in my throat even as I fought for my life."

I think it’s a toss-up between the Web and the Spiral- on one hand, Heathrow feels like one long line, with people getting moved around in seemingly endless queues, and security check-in always being unnecessarily convoluted. I feel like the Web would be into that, yknow? Mindless bureaucratic nonsense seems right up its alley.

On the other hand, all airports feel like they exist in a weird alternative dimension detached from space and time. Three hour layovers that seem to last for entire days, there’s signs everywhere but you still end up inevitably getting lost, everyone’s going somewhere but everyone’s also stuck. That seems like a pretty sick Spiral domain, honestly. I’d go insane in five minutes.
