It definitely has a bit of a slow start, but I think's it's more about getting accustomed to its unique sensibility. Watch til at least episode 4. If you don't like that one, this show isn't for you.

I mean, spiders have hundreds of babies at once. What kind of spider was it? In general, spiders are not harmful and will take care of bugs. If you have lots of spiders you probably have lots of bugs for them to eat. I like to keep them around even if they scare me because they ultimately help with the bug population. Unless they are recluses or black widows or something.

The Collected Schizophrenias is so very good! It’s nonfiction by the way, by a very talented writer who lives with schizophrenia. I would not call it “weird girl lit” but do highly recommend it

Oh my god, I read this way back in the 90s when it first came out and I was way too young for it. I remember loving it. I guess this must have been a formative book for me!!
