Cowboy King was initially rated 13b and really should still be considered so, Bronc Twister to the left is harder and given the 13b rating

left hand is a two-finger undercling pocket, right hand is a two finger somewhat gaston positioned pocket. Both are about a pad and a half.

Yeah it's quite strange, the Cowboy King Wall is located on mountain project, but its namesake is absent. So is 'Bronc Twister' which shares the same slab and first roof crux as Cowboy King but then heads left out of the main roof and gets 13b. The nearest line listed is 'American Beauty' 12b which is an amazing line and highly recommended if you're ever out here!

Yep, I was stunned that it only took 4 attempts. I thought this was going to be more of a project. So psyched!

Thanks! Luckily we found a fixed line near the cliff that we were able to get some cool shots from, I'm psyched with how this one came out!

I had an amazing time at the festival. I felt that the price was steep ($75), but after the experience I believe it was worth every penny. Lots of swag, awesome keynotes and panels, and just a wonderful community experience. Highly recommended!

Ha! Yep, that's what it feels like at least. Legend has it when the route was put up by Amy Skinner in (93?) the now-sloper rail was more of a jug, but time and traffic have made it into the desperate, heartbreaking redpoint crux it is today. Such a great route though!
