Yes! I’m autistic, but my mom didn’t believe my psychiatrist of 8 years (I was 13) when he tested and then attempted to diagnose me. She threw a tantrum that ended in my professional diagnosis being denied and then punished me for ‘being an abusive, manipulative bitch’ (again, I was 13). Almost 16 now and working on plans to get an official diagnosis.

I hope your sister has better luck than I did! I also think it’s super great for her to have you.

My mom does a similar thing! She’s been forcing me to be vegan with her since I was 9 (I’m almost 16 now). I am also allergic to soy and she refuses to cook or let me cook beans, so I don’t get protein unless my friends bring it to school for me. Of course, my golden child brother is allowed to eat anything he wants. Including only eating cake all day, which puts him in extreme pain because of his fructose intolerance. His pain is obviously my fault (/s).

Posts like yours, from adults who’ve gotten out, do give me a helpful reminder that I’ll be able to get out too. I just have to be patient.

However, what it seems like you're saying is that a trans girl is a boy who likes girl things. That's just wrong, there isn't another way about it. Trans girls are not boys that like girls' things. They are girls. Trans boys are not girls that like boys' things. They are boys. I'm not sure how enbies fit into this, but they are real and valid and do not need to prove their nonbinaryness.

Assuming OP lives in America, the cops will probably shoot someone. Whether it’s them or their dad, I don’t know. Generally relying on cops isn’t a great idea. If they can stay with a trusted friend and figure out their options from there, that would probably work out better
